that star idea. i got by bf one before. obviously ur not getting a real star but i used a company where a percentage of the money went to a charity of my choice. and you get a certificate and a pin and you can buy other gifts too. he loved it and thought it was really sweet. something thoughtful and meaningfull would prob b the best seeing hes planning on spending all his life with her, he should know her well enuf by now to know what shes into!!!! mb a charm bracelet with an engagement ring on it, fill it up as you get married, move in together if they havnt already, bought a house, had their first child, their anniversary, second child, grand kids, new job, dream car, holidays etc. lil charms for each special occasion.

An activity for the honeymoon. If they are going somepace tropical perhaps swimming with dolphins, if they are just hanging at home a massage....something like that.
A note about those "star naming" registries. They are a complete rip off. The only people qualified to offcially name stars is the National Star Registry run by a combination of the word's governments and they do not sell rights to name stars. Those registries all you are doing is paying for the right to put your star name in their book. Depends on what "offical" registry you look at and the same star can have hundreds of names. It's like nicknaming your car....it's still a Toyota Whatever regardess of what you call it at home.
If she is into reading there are actually services that will write a book featuring the two of you and your actual love story (sometimes beefed up a bit for better reading but essentially the same). The give it to you bound with a cover, title, all that happy stuff and would make a cute keepsake for her.

My brother-in-law gave my sister an engraved jewelry box. The star idea is good or there are places that you can order news papers from the day they met. Sounds corney but he could have a personalized calendar made to "help plan their life together".

My nephew bought his wife a wooden welsh love spoon saying "our wedding". He had it engraved with their names and the date of the wedding. But they are welsh. It cost about £30 and you can order them from the internet
