Met this guy through a friend for a brief moment. We were both attracted to each other but nothing happened. He lives a few hours away. I was visiting a friend who lived with her boyfriend away from home and he stopped by the day I was there visiting. Four years later, haven't seen him since, our mutual friends plan their wedding and ask us both to be part of it and we both said yes. He asked my friend the bride to ask me to be his date, I said yes then a few days before the wedding he asks his friend the groom, if he can bring a date which then left me dateless. At the wedding I could tell he felt horrible for doing that and wants me to know that he likes me and has since he met me. He hasn't had a chance to apologize to me personally but he cowardly is doing it through the bride and groom for him. What should I do. I am attracted to him but don't think he deserves me after what he did. He hurt my feelings. (oh and his date was ugly- had to add that

What the difference between a Jehovah Witness wedding and a Catholic wedding? Can i have bridsmaids, groomsmen, can my dress be like i want it? Can i invite as many ppl to my wedding as i want or is there a certain number? Can i clash both religions? Catholic and JW traditions together? Can i have the wedding traditions, like something old new and blue?

My boyfriend and I dated since we were 22. We are now 27 (not married). I'm pregnant. We know that we both love each other very much. How do I tell him? I'm really scared that he might run off from me now that I am pregnant. How did you do tell your husband/boyfriend?

My girlfriend's pregnant and I'm very much in love with my girlfriend. We are both 24. She means the whole world to me. I was planning to marry her when I hit 28, and start a family at 30. I would never give her up for anything. We've been dating since we were 16. I love her more than anything.

Hey :-)

My partner & I are getting engaged, however, I literally cannot stand to be around his family - to the point where in the four years we've been together, I've avoided even the big occasions with them such as Christmas etc. Basically, my family are very close (I come from a European background, so think my Big Fat Greek Wedding-style haha) & family is very important to us all, whereas his family is virtually the complete opposite.

So my question is: would an issue like this stop you from getting engaged to a person who you were in love with??

Our relationship is great, but the tension between myself & his family has always been an issue. On the flip side though, my parents absolutely adore my partner (& as we still both live at home with our parents), he virtually lives at my place & treats my parents better than his own..

I'm banking on the fact that we're moving interstate next year (& hence, away from his family).. am I being naieve for thinking this will help?!

i am getting married next yr. i have been planning my wedding for a long time(since i was about 6 yrs old!) and i now have the oppurtunity to have my dream. i am a private person and like to keep my personal life personal. however when i showed up at work w/ a ring it caught everyones attention. (and its a spectacular ring my hubby to b did an amazing job w/ it!!!) a few wks after finding out my fiance was a computer programmer a coworker (whom i really never associated with) made it a point to say he was going to school for programming (after contradicting himself many times i called him on it and he called me a liar saying he had never said that! next he went and got his gf identical rings to mine!!! and has even made his wedding date the same as mine! I cant even talk to my friends at work about my wedding bc if it gets back to him or he overhears it he takes it for his own. this is really upsetting me. this is suppose to b my dream and i feel like hes stealing it!! what can i do?!

Do you think dating for one year then living together for one year is smart before getting married? Also, when living together is it more respectful when you both are already engaged? What are your thoughts? Thank you~

I really love the trash the dress idea when it comes to reception pictures (change into a different wedding dress). I thought I could have the bridesmaids all pose in the water since we are having it near the pool. Do you think it will make for good pictures? I would like to pose with my bridesmaids around the pool area on on the stairs, and some fun pictures of everyone getting wet in the pool and standing in the shallow end for some group shots. Is this really super corney??

The last name is wrong in multiple spots...and it seems so weird because she knew at one point, how to spell it - It's been on all our wedding stuff (invites and such.) It's close, but wrong!!!

She is having keepsakes made for us, her and my dad, and my husbands family (who will notice that their last name is misspelled!)

How do I say:

Thank you for putting together this wedding announcement, but kill the keepsakes...? Or, do we just take the keepsake to spare her feelings?

She is going to feel awful! And I feel kinda like....WTF?!

Help.

My friend is getting married in a month to a man who proposed to her after only two months of dating. He is obsessed with her.
I just found out recently that she is in love with and is still sleeping with another man. She also told me she recently had a pregnancy scare, and the baby would NOT have been her fiance's. This other man has no idea that she lives with her fiance and that she is getting married soon. In fact she recently went and looked at wedding rings with the "other" man even though she's planning to get married next month. Her fiance is extremely sweet, but she treats him like crap. She is definately not in love with him. If I had known that she was still in love and sleeping with another man I would never have agreed to be in the wedding. I believe that a marriage is a holy covenant between two people who completely love each other. I feel like this wedding should be stopped as it is a farce. She doesnt want to stop it cause they have already bought a house together

I am getting married in 4 weeks and I need to figure out songs for the ceremony and a mother/son dance. I dont want anything traditional in my wedding and we are even doing the sand ceremony also. However, I am not having a dj doing the ceremony, just an organist. Does anyone have any songs in mind or even the piano renditions or popular songs? I want it to be romantic yet different and with more popular songs. I need songs for the prelude, processional, sand ceremony and recessional. can anyone please help me? I am very stressed out over this and the minister wants me to finish my programs this week!! And then my fiance and I are having a hard time figuring out a song for his mother/son dance. what makes it so hard though too is he is adopted and his adopted mom raised him, however, his biological mom is also coming, how do we work that and without hurting anyone's feelings? So we need a song for that too. Please help.
