It depends on the type of look and feel you want your wedding to have. If you want something bold, jewel tones would go nicely with silver. Wine, deep greens or blues, or even red or navy would complement silver. If you are looking for something softer, for instance if you are having a spring wedding or if the ceremony is in the morning, most pastel colors would go nicely with silver. A shimmery blue, or sage green would probably go very nicely, or even a light purple, if it's the right shade. I would stay away from anything with a yellow, peach or orange hue, though. Champagne would probably also complement the silver quite well. If you really uncertain about whether a color will match, if you are having your dress altered, ask the seamstress for a piece of the fabric that she has cut off, and bring it with you to compare.

Blues and purples definitely go well with silver.
If your dress is a light silver, why not put them in a darker silver or gray, like platinum. Or you could go completely back tie and have them in black evening gowns with silver accents.
If you do choose a color other than silver make sure to incorporate accents of that color in your decorations otherwise it may look out of place.
Good luck!

How about a darker grey - like a pewter color? While part of me is saying put them in a white dress, I'm afraid if your dress is a shade of grey that it's going to overshadow yours and make it look odd and 'discolored' in photos. Personally I'd introduce another color into your scheme. For a real elegant look how about a gold color?! Not a metallic gold, but a soft gold would warm up your color scheme.
Good Luck! :)

silver...how lovely, good for you for being a little bit different. Silver tends to go with most colours, I like it best with pink or light blue, but it also looks stunning with that beautiful apricot colour. There are so many pretty shades you could choose from, why not take your girls shopping and try some on to see what suits their skin tone best.

Purple looks so elegant with silvers & grey. A shade of blue can be pretty too, but stay away for bright blues... it will look like sport team colors.

If you're wearing silver and the colors are silver and white, why not put them in white dresses?
I think that could be rather striking and elegant.

I think silver/grey goes well with deep plum or light blue.

I would go with a dark color like navy blue, royal purple, teal (tealness color from alfred angelo is gorgeous), a deep red like a wine or even a cranberry, or black/white.
