Hi and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

I found this site: www.lcipaper.com
in the search box, type in "invitation wording"; then
go to "winter and holiday wedding". They have 6 different examples of wording that you can choose from.

However, just because you are having this as a "theme" doesn't mean that the invitation wording needs to change. If you don't see something you like on the site I gave you, (or that the others gave you), I would simply have snowflakes on the invitation and have the traditional wording. Good luck!

I'm not sure if I understand what you are looking for.

The wording on your invitation doesn't necessarily have to change just because you are having a winter wedding.

Invitations are usually worded:

You are cordially invited to join in the marriage ceremony of
John and Joan
on Saturday June 1st, 2008
at such and such church

etc etc

So are you looking for a special verse or specific style?

I found some sites with winter invitations that may help, good luck!

The wording of the invitation is generally the same, giving out the information of who is getting married, when and where. The theme of the wedding is carried by the design of the invitation, not the words. I mean, do you want the invite to say:

In a blizzard of love
Jason John Marks
and
Lilly Lola Tinks
are sledding into their future together on
December 12, 2007
at 2:00 p.m.
at Snowmass Chapel
Snowmass, Colorado

That is a cute idea! I would go for something like "Once upon a time on a wintery day" or something saying it is winter..You know? And the for the invitations I would make sure they have snowflakes on them or something wintery. That idea is something that you can be really creative with. If you have a creative friend, have them make you a poem. Something saying "Once upon a time in a winder wonderland, {you} and {your fiance} were walking hand in hand. Vows to be taken, a new life to start two different people, but one single heart. I know it is cheesy but something like that. You know? I hope this helps you out. Congrats!

Well get some of the white lights with white cords... drape them from the ceiling to the center of the walls....make them into shapes....wrap them with tulle....... in your colors for the wedding.... .... add white christmas trees around the reception hall.......... all with white lights..... make your centerpieces out of silver christmas ornaments.. put them in clear glass bowls...... surround them with wreaths in silver or the colors in your wedding.... and there are machines that project snow falling........ we have one for our outdoor Christmas display............this would look wonderful

have you tried any of these? Not sure if they'll have what you are looking for either - not sure I do to be honest.

a horse drawn sleigh ride with jingle bells to and from the ceremony and have all the guests throw colored confetti as you leave so that it glitters in the snow
