Websites like www.theknot.com and www.weddingchannel.com have check lists that you can print off and alter to include other misc things that you have.

First off, get someone to help you ( female and experienced) you can't do all the things by yourself if want to have a flawless wedding. Then, go get some books about wedding, some of the books actually feature tips of how to get the stuff you want at low price with great quality and quantity. You also have to have a notepad with you, to write down the invitations, food and etc. Ask your spouse to check the notepad for you just in case if you forget some important people ( trust me, it always happens). Besides, don't wait until last minutes, get your gown ready really soon, in case something happened. Other than that, you also have to make sure the decoration/food is properly arranged. Ask only ONE or two person to in charge for each task, normally if too many people handling a same task, they will just wait for each other to start the work, and this is were all the problem start to occur.

Sit down with your fiance and anyone else who's input you rely on. Map out what you want. Once you have identified those things you want, then make a master list of those items.

Make a book, with tabs to seperate each item. Give each item it's own section. Detail what you need to do to make sure each item is available and arrives on time.

NAME THE ITEM: Dress, Church, Reception hall, Minister, Rings . . .

WHERE EACH IT IS LOCATED:

WHO PROVIDES IT: Store name(s), supplier names, contractor names, caterer name(s), florist name(s), photographer name(s), videographer name(s), disc jockey name(s), band name(s), decorator names(s) etc . . .

List all of their contact information. Business phone, cell phone, location(s), date by which item must be ordered, paid for, picked up, delivered, picked up and returned. You wont need all of these per item, but it is good to have a list to start with, use what you need per item.

WHEN IS IT AVAILABLE, IF IT IS ON BACK ORDER, ALTERNATIVES:

You can tailor this kind of list to suit your needs. The best thing to do is to keep calm, be realistic, keep the lines of communication open and functioning well.

Combine this with a calendar, graph out every item. This is where most mistakes are made. Someone will assume something has been ordered or they will assume someone else had the responsibility to accomplish a task, that doesn't get done.

Have sit down meetings through out the process. Don't annoy your help. Have meetings that you need. Update everyone at the same time, ask for any and all questions to be put forth in the meetings and take notes. YOU personally meet with anyone who is unable to attend a meeting and go over the details and any and all changes.

BREATH, BREATH, BREATH. REMEMBER WHY YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED. REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE MARRYING. BREATH, BREATH, BREATH.

I wish you and your fiance every happiness. Do not let the insignificant intrude apon your happiness, but take care of the details.

Lists, lists, lists. A master list of everything overall, and smaller lists of tasks that need to be accomplished along the way. Good to have things divided by sections - ceremony, dinner, reception, etc. Just go through the events of the day in your mind, and start dividing things up, and figuring what needs to be done for each accordingly.
Had I been thinking a bit ahead, I would have had a slip with me to wear with my dress the day after the wedding when we went to church Sunday morning!

I got a small thick tablet when planning my daughter's wedding. I put little divider tabs in it with sections for the church, reception and miscellaneous. I kept it in my purse at all times, that way when something popped into my head that I had to order or buy I could mark it down. I also kept a list of everyone we had contacted (photographer, videographer, cake decorator, cookie maker, etc.) with their phone #'s.
Write down everything!! Put your ideas for decorating on paper, that way you'll have an idea of what needs to be purchased and you can cross it off your list when it's been purchased and packed into a box designated for the church or reception hall.
This tablet was invaluable to me keeping everything organized!!

Get a day planner and make a list of things to be done. List every plan and appointment on the proper date, and you will be ready for the wedding.

I would say get a checklist and make sure you check it to see if you have everything and then go back over it a day or so before the wedding.

You should write everything on a list. And you should write this list before you start buying things for your wedding. And every time you remember something, you write it down on your list.

You just remember for the most part anyways. I forgot things with mine, some things were missed...but, when the day came, I just didn't care!! I was relaxed, excited, and didn't even notice when the day was done. One thing I did...I asked for help. Don't be afraid to delegate tasks. Don't try to do it all yourself, or you may go nuts!!!

Keep yourself a day planner or journal to write everything into. who you talked to, costs, arrangements to meet, whether or not you liked them, directions to their offices/stores etc. Take it with u everywhere u go to make sure u get the best of everything and dont get confused later! Good luck!
