I don't know about the software itself. Try Michaels, Hobby Lobby, A.C. Moore because they have do it yourself invitations and most of the packages have the software included.

Save money that way as well. I'm making my own invitations and that is what I did.

go to www.vistaprint.com you can design your own invitation or customize one of theirs. Its cheaper than printing yourself - they print it for you and it comes in a couple days usually. Also, there is an ebay store that I recommend called The Greeting Card Village - She makes anything custom and so cheap!!! Nice quality too - That's where I ordered my invitations from - wedding invitation sets include reception card, invitation, response card, and thank you notes - all with envelopes for around $70 for a set of 100. Don't hassle yourself by making them yourself - it will end up costing more money and headaches!!!

You can actually use Word and adjust template settings. A lot of people do that when they buy do it yourself wedding kits.
Have you also checked the Avery website? You can download their software for free and design stuff with it such as cards and invitations.

If you go buy the cardstock paper to print the invitations (they even have several at Walmart!), there is always a website to visit on the box. And even better, they have suggestions for wording. I printed my own and it was very easy.

Just pick a nice one of the Internet and have a whizkid nephew reproduce that in Photoshop or Corel or what have you.
