Is it really worth paying extra for an E or F? Can you, or anyone else - apart from an expert - tell the difference, from say a G or H?

I have a ring which on the valuation certificate I had done for insurance reads: "weighing .73 ct - I/J - P1 .....". I know the I/J is colour, ct weight etc. but what does the P1 mean? It doesn't seem to fit into the clarity terms (FL, IF, S1 etc.). Thanks

I need help planning the meal for my wedding (The wedding will be April 21, 2007). I only want to spend between $300-$400 on the meal part; including plates, cups, napkins, etc. My mother, my soon to be mother in law and myself will be handling all the cooking, etc. What are appropiate dishes to serve? Meats, sides, veggies, fruits..etc. Any suggestions will be helpful and appreciated. Thank you!

I'm getting married two weeks from tomorrow. Last weekend at my bachelor party of 20 guys, I shared a room with 3 of my groomsmen. We were all really trashed and ended up having some male on male sexual encounters together. I don't think that I need to go into detail in regards to what happened in that hotel rooms that night. You can use your imaginations. We all agreed the next day to keep this little episode under wraps. I sorta feel guilty about it. Should I just forget about it and move on or should I tell my fiance what happened? If anything is it even considered cheating? Any advice

It's not going to happen for a few years yet but I'm just wondering where I can get married. I don't want to get married in a church any more than I would in a mosque or synagogue because I'm not religious... and outside isn't a good idea when you live in Scotland... any suggestions?

Thanks everyone who answered my last question about my brother paying for his daughters wedding this told not to come. First his daughter loves her father very much..she is torn apart by this demand from her mother...she is a very sweet girl between a rock and a hard space. This woman is so ugly I could fill 500 pages of what she has done. When they divorced she falsely filed abuse charges...made the kids lie...the good news is that it all back-fired on her. The kids cracked...the judge took them in a private room (she suspect something) the kids all said that mother told them to lie to the courts...it's goes on and on. My brother feels that his children have been put through hell with this woman and doesn't want to cause any more pain in their lives. Please pray that before this wedding takes place that he will be alowed to walk his daughter down the isle and attend the wedding he has already paid for.

any advise is welcome...and I'll pass it along

Say a female Marine is marrying a man in the Navy.

Would is be appropriate for the ushers to be Marines and would it be okay for the female to be in uniform as opposed to your traditional wedding gown?

My concern is how the sailor would feel about all of this. =)

Just...

curious, guys.

If you would, list them in order of preference. And lets keep the "doesn't/shouldn't matter" to a minimum, please.

My brother was married for 15 years. He's just the greatest guy on the planet, very humble quite spoken man (a Christan man too). Well his little wifey got like'n the guy next door and had an affair and left my brother for him. My brother had to pay her $1500 per Month because she wanted another man. Well they divorced 2 years after (how shocking) now she's remarried. The oldest daughter is getting married and ask my brother to pay for the wedding $12,000 and the honey-moon $4500. He said sure and paid for everything..NOW the X-wife doesn't want him to walk her down the isle she want her new husband (of one year)to do it and got his daughter to call my brother and tell him that he is not invited because it will make mommy dearest and new husband will ackward.
MY BROTHER said okay...because his daughter asked him too...he said he wants what his daughter has asked for...he's not upset or mad...BUT I want to SCREAM...I am outraged!!

Am I wrong here...tell me, I'm going crazy!

Example: John and Jane Doe OR Jane and John Doe?

The first sounds better but I have heard somewhere to never separate a man's first name from his last name. THANKS!

My mom is great! I love her to death, but when it comes to planning my wedding, she seems to be ignoring everything I say and is telling the wedding coordinator what she wants. I have tried to have calm conversations with her, but she keeps doing the same thing. I want this to be a great experience for the both of us, but now I am getting stressed out. Itr seems like she is planning the wedding she wants and inviting all of her friends without consulting me. Now I am facing whether I will have room for the people I want there...Help!

I am having my wedding in an expensive area to plan weddings and I don't wanna have to pay a country club an arm and an leg to cater it. I wanna be able to bring my own cater but still be able to party until like 9 pm. I will be having the wedding in the Lake Tahoe region/surrounding areas. Have any idea's as to where to possibly have it and bring my own cater? I don't wanna have it in a cheesy place. No casinos!!!!
