I have a ring which on the valuation certificate I had done for insurance reads: "weighing .73 ct - I/J - P1 .....". I know the I/J is colour, ct weight etc. but what does the P1 mean? It doesn't seem to fit into the clarity terms (FL, IF, S1 etc.). Thanks

P1 is the UK equivalent to an I1. It's a grade lower than SI2. It has inclusions visible with the naked eye.
