A luncheon wedding is one of the hottest trends today! Serve cold cuts, sandwiches, salads, pickles, and small finger foods. Fruit/veggie platters are also a good idea. If you are one a budget, stick with in season fruits and veggies and premade sandwiches. Avoid expensive things like cheese, etc.

Morning receptions are very big in England. Try a brunch, with some salmon, and perhaps a salad variety.

I had my wedding at 1pm, we had a stand up cocktail party (there were chairs and tables but no seating plans). We had finger foods - sandwiches, cold canapes and hot nibbles).

I think 11am is a great idea. Congratulations on your wedding!

A themed wedding would be cool....

If it's like a picinic - maybe sandwiches, fruits, veggies, chips, and a variety of cheeses and wine.

A bbq - hot dogs, hamerburgers, grilled chicken, potato salad, mac salad.

All finger foods - mini grilled cheese, meatballs, mini sausages, spinicopola.

A soul food brunch - mac and cheese, fried chicken, gumbo, cornbread.

Offer brunch-related food. How about having different stations and people can pick and choose what they want. Do some sort of egg station and a carving station offering roast beef and/or ham. also offer different desserts and salads.
