He seems interested in you but I would see what else he does first. I am a guy and I smile and flirt with alot of people, but I don't necessarily like them like that. Ask him if he wants to hang out or something.

Yes that is a sign.
There are a lot of ways you cant tell if a guy likes you. One of the main ways is if he flirsts with you, and you should be able to tell if he is flirting with you.
A few other signs are:
-Sometimes if he picks on you.
-If he buys you things, (not big things just like a movie ticket or dinner.)
-If he enjoys hanging out with you and likes being your friend.
-If he calls you often.

Its hard to tell. He may be just a big flirt. If he really likes you then he would try to talk to you. Watch out he may have a girlfriend! Find out if he is single and watch to see if he trys to be around you.

well, it all depends. how does he act around other girls? how does he act around his guy friends? if you like this boy you need to tell him. i told a guy i liked him w/ a note, and we've been dating for three months now. just say somthin like, "i been hidin somthin from you, i dont really wanna hide it anymore. i like you, and i understand if you dont feel the same way, but i just wanted you to know how i feel." just trust me, he couldnt hate you for being honest.

I hate these questions. Just go up to him, plant a big french kiss on him. If he kisses you back, he likes you. If he pushes you away, he doesn't.
