My BF and I have had marriage talk but then I wonder how we would get married. He is Buddhist and I was raised Catholic, but I have Buddhist beliefs. I would like something small and traditional. Only reason I would want to get married through the catholic church is for respect to my father and rest of the family. But at the same time this wedding is supposed to make my BF and i happy. So I was just wondering what you alll thought and if youve been to a buddhist wedding how was it??

Heres the other thing, we are both mexican and would like to have mariachis at the reception, would that be a total clash with a buddhist wedding??

We aren't having a traditional 'Military Wedding.' He plans to have his brother (active Army) and a friend who is in the National Guard as his attendants. My fiance says he would like to wear his Dress Uniform (he has the dress greens) but has also looked into buying dress blues because they are a bit more formal. My problem is that the other guys in the military only have greens, so my fiance thinks they could just wear tuxedo's, and he could be in uniform. I think that if one is in uniform, it would seem strange for them all not to be. They dont have dress blues, and they shouldnt have to get them just for a wedding. I think that the guys should all wear tuxedo's, including my fiance, because it would give them all a similar look. and make the day more about us, and not about being in the military. What do you think?? Please help!

I would like a box to put them in for the wedding as they just came in a pouch. Nothing overly expensive (£30ish) but something that we can keep, and I could leave my engagement ring in when I'm not wearing it. Any interesting ideas or websites? Thanks very much and merry christmas!

My soon to be husband is mad at me and I don't know why I've asked him twice and he says nothing is wrong but my instincts tell me other wise. Is it just my nerves trying to interfear? Sometimes what he says to me makes me want to just cry, it's rude and crude. Why is he so mooddy? Is it he's just nervous to? The wedding is in five weeks, is he just actting like a normal bacholor soon to be married? He's happy as long as we're going over the plans. Why is he acting this way!?

My boyfriend asked me to marry him last feb., I said yes and was very excited. Now I just cant stop thinking about my ex, we broke up last April after he needed his space. He's called and said sorry and asked if we could try again. My friends are half and half on what I should do, but most say he is still in love with me. I do have to say he was great , untill the last few months. During that time he hurt me and broke my heart. I love my boyfriend, but why is my ex in my thoughts all the time. Help!!!

The groom is the one who will be flushing his sex life and his social life (and usually his wallet) down the toilet by getting married; shouldn't that account for anything? Why do women think that everything has to be about them?

I think they are smart because they know they cannot afford to keep waiting for the ideal man to come about. And they grab when a decent one come along, for some they are blessed with the choice they made and live happily ever after.

what do u think?
