Depends on your beliefs. If you are a VERY true traditionalist then white or off white would be your choice. In old tradition it is seen that if you wear red that you are not virgin like. (not saying you aren't, that is just the old superstition.) But I don't see nothing wrong with it personally. Just an idea instead of a full blown red try white with some red design. Hope this helps. Happy Holidays.

Absolutely! Wedding dresses are being manufactured in all different arrays of color. My manicurist is going to wear a red wedding dress for her wedding. I suggested she mail invitations requesting black and white wedding attire where all the women will wear white and men wear black tuxes. She'll definitely stand out in that red wedding dress now!

Depends on the cut, style, and fabric of the dress. The color isn't an issue, red is fine for a wedding.

Definitely! In many cultures, red is a lucky (auspicious) color for the wedding party as well as the guests, so it is widely accepted all over the world.

You gives a fliying "f"?

Wear whatever you want. If the person's whose big day it is has any time to notice at all, they are catty and looking to make everyone feel beneath them.

This may be their day, but it's your day too. Just because they are getting married doesn't mean the universe revolves around them.

To what you feel like.

The basic rule of thumb is not to wear anything that would distract from the bride.

I don't think so...red is a loud and demanding color and some people may find it rude and think you are pulling attention from the people who's big day it is. If you don't care what people think though, go for it. I just think alot of people may find it rude

I wouldn't. I think it's rude. Red is definitely a "look at me" color and it's not you're day. I would go with a more subtle color.
