A Methodist wedding will take you about 1/2 hr 45-min. My husband and I had a Methodist wedding almost a yr ago. we had 2 readings, one "special song" and the address vows exchanging of rings and lighting of the unity candle. we also had a small wedding party only three on each side (bridesmaids/ groomsmen) then I think the receiving like was about a 1/2 hr too.not too bad! so my educated answer is 1/2 hour to 45 at the MAX for the ceremony and 1/2 hr MAX for the receiving line.

Depends on what you discuss with your pastor. My wedding was at a Baptist church and the whole thing was about 45 mins once I started walking down the aisle. I allowed 2 hours from the start of the wedding to the start of the reception so people had time to chat afterwards and they actualy had a LOT of extra time to hang out.....If it helps - I had just a standard service with rings and vows and all that, plus a unity candle being lit. I had about 30 guests. I went to a friends wedding at a methodist church - she had similar type service, but with about 50 people and it took about the same amount of time.

depends on how the wedding is organized. I've been to some that last an hour and some that have lasted about 2 or 3 hours.

My wedding is at 5:30pm and will end by 6:30pm. We're having a catholic ceremony. The reception is at 7:00pm.
It depends on what you want for a wedding. Congrats and good luck!

Really, only about 30 minutes for the ceremony. You'll want to add time at the begining for people to filter into the church, and you'll want to add some time at the end for greeting guests. But for such a small ceremony, I'd say to reserve about 45 minutes, if that.

Easiest thing to do to find out would be to meet with your officient. My pastor told us our wedding will only take 30 minutes. So, it really depends on the people getting married, their religion and officient.

I have performed weddings that have lasted 7 min and have lasted two hours. It will depend on what you want.

I was married in a Greek Orthodox church and the ceremony was an hour. :) I would guess at least 15 minutes and up.
