My fiance and I are planning a Christmas wedding. Any ideas for colors/favors/anything?
...I've already tried theknot.com I was just looking for other ideas so please don't refer me to that website.

My best friend is getting married to her fiance who she has been with for 4 years. Their wedding is planned for March 21 2007 and her soon to be mother in law said long time ago that she wanted to make the bridal dress. In the past week her mother in law's father passed away and she need to know if it would be inappropriate to talk about the making of the dress or if she should wait until the mother gets back home. O also the mother in law is in town visiting for Christmas now and lives in Bahrain so when she leaves she will be leaving the country.

I'm looking to stay away from being so traditional. I know everyone does "homestyle" chicken and mashed potatoes...I'm would like to steer away from that. But on the other hand I don't want to go too fancy. Any suggestion?

My friend co-worker is getting married next year. I have this feeling she's going to ask me to be a bridesmaid. She's my friend at work, but out side of work we live different life styles. I would love to attend her wedding, but don't want to spend the money to be in it. Also, I don't want to leave my boyfriend alone at the wedding while I'm busy being a bridesmaid. He won't know anybody. What should I do? I don't want to hurt her feelings. Plus, I think she thinks we're closer friends than we really are. yikes....

My finace and I are of the same faith. Because of his convictions, he doesnt believe we should have a dance at the reception. I at this time see no problem with it. I love him and want to marry him. Marriage is about compromising which I have no problem. This just simply caught me off guard. This is my first wedding and perhaps its just my wedding jitters. Would would you do? Get over it and marry him or take it under serious consideration?

I am getting married to an Indian Girl who I love very much. The problem is that she and her family insist on having the reception at Dunkin Donuts. I really don't care but my family wants a more traditional hall or restaurant. What should I do?

I heard in Kentucky you can get married when you are only 14. Do you have to have your parents to do it, or can you do it yourself if you just pay for it and everything.

You can't hardly find anything that isn't strapless unless you have it custom made. Even the rare dresses that do have straps of any kind are not flattering styles either.
