Proposing to any girl is very tricky. To top off, if the girl is your friend, it becomes more complicated. I would suggest that you do not take the step immediately. Take your time and find out if she has any feelings for you. To do this, ask her questions like, what kind of a guy she would like to get married to or ask if she has any crush on any guy. You could also check her reaction by telling her one day that a girl has been trying to approach you and make friendship with you. If the girl you are planning to propose to has any feelings for you, she will surely get jealous and react. Watch out for that. Take your time, if you take a hasty decision, it can be very embarrassing for you and hurtful for her. All the best.

Jay, tell her this in person:

"You are the closest person I have ever dealt with & I feel high to be wid you and you have made me feel a better person. Can you be mine forever? If your answer is 'Yes', I am the most happiest person on earth now, if you say 'No', though, I would be happy to remain your friend forever & my feelings to you as a friend will never be deviated. Please forgive me if my proposal has offended your feelings"

If you are little hesitant or not confident enough to tell her in person, you can write to her with your own hand writing and give it to her wid d new year greetings as my frend suggested.

I don't know, If I was there in ur place i would have asked her the above in person.

Check it out! Dont you worry about the consequence, she will say "Yes" to you and if she says "No" also, you are not going to lose her frendship if she is matured enough!

If you are good friends, there should not be much of problem. You can just propose her in a decent manner and if it is not acceptable, she might just laugh it off or she might give you some reasons.

The problem shall start when you will try to impose. And I presume, you are wise enough to know that there is no reason to impose.

So, go ahead... Tell her what you have stated in this question.

Good Luck.

if you want her,you must be ready to risk your friendship because if you don't,you'll regret at what could have been.but if you do,your relantionship with her might end up way better then expected.

good luck!
