My boyfriend and I were going to be spending Thanksgiving apart, and we had never really spent time away from each other (we just always took trips together). I was in one state and he was in another. I was having an ok time with family, but he seemed to be having a blast! I wanted to go shopping on Black Friday, but couldn't get anyone in my family to go!! Everyone had some reason they couldn't go!
I finally gave up and laid on the couch, and when I woke up, my boyfriend was standing over my with flowers and a balloon. And after that he was my fiancee, and now my husband of 2 years. =-)
The reason no one could go was they had to keep me at the house and pick up my husband from the airport!

My fiancee deployed to Iraq and I'm at a base thousands of miles away from my family, so I was pretty bummed about spending our anniversary, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years alone. Then, on our anniversary, he called (we hardly ever get to have phone calls) and asked me to marry him! It's made this whole time fly by, instead of moping, I get to plan a wedding!

One morning before I had to head off to the office, my husband woke me up early for his version of 'breakfast in bed'. Breakfast consisted of a bowl of cereal and toast. :) As I was eating, he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. i work overnight at a hospital. when i got home at 7am my boyfriend was already awake (well, he had to let me in, i lost my keys!). but i was expecting him to still be in bed. it was christmas morning. so i changed into my pjs and sat infront of the tree with him. his first gift to me was a beautiful picture frame with little doors in it and whe i opened it there was a really pretty three diamond necklace in it. he then opened his gifts and when he was done he gave me this large box but it was pretty light though. when i unwrapped it, it said on it "your movies have arrived". i thought he baught me some dvds. i opened the box and there was tissue paper in it with a little box in the middle. when i opened it he asked me to marry him in the cutest little baby voice. it was sweet!
