I went through this myself and after a great deal of searching - David's Bridal did give the best choices for style, color & price.

Could you please be more specific about what "south bay" you are referring to? City & State might be helpful. If you are talking about South Bay Area, California, then "David's Bridal" http://www.davidsbridal.com/index.jsp or "Group USA" http://www.groupusa.com/ in the Great Mall in Milpitas. Otherwise, anywhere else in the US I have no idea...good luck.
