I heard in Kentucky you can get married when you are only 14. Do you have to have your parents to do it, or can you do it yourself if you just pay for it and everything.

Kentucky Marriage License Requirements:

You must be at least 18 years of age to marry without a parents consent.

If either partner is under 18, parental consent forms must be signed.

If you are under 16 you can not marry without a court order.

A minor who is pregnant does not need parental consent as long as the pregnancy is verified in a written statement by a licensed physician.

Minors can not marry if parents or guardians are not residents of the state.

nope you have to be 18. If you are 16 or 17 years old, you must have the consent of your parents or legal guardian.

I AM FROM LEXINGTON, KY. I KNOW YOU HAVE TO BE 16 TO GET MARRIED AND THATS WITH PARENTS CONSENT. YOU HAVE TO BE 18 TO DO IT ALONE.
