Ive been dating a guy for about 2 years...sad thing is that for the most part of our relationship, he has been in another country. I visited once, we keep in touch via email/phone. It has been a roller coaster. He didnt treat me well when he came home (twice) i was not a priority at all. Ever since i went to visit things have been different...but i keep questioning things. I love him...the sex is great, he will be home in a few weeks for good. Why oh why am i now thinking this wont work out? I'm 29, he's 24...i just dont see this lasting. He has no clue what he's really doing in his life...I just dont know!

as some of you may know i posted a question related to this before. so today my wife left with her parents to go to her ex husbands house for christmas and she will be staying there until new years. i have tried stopping her but she refused, as she said she wants to stay friends with him. there are no children involved so the only gift i had to give her was her own. i couldnt come as her ex husband wouldnt allow. i asked her about cheating and she got mad and said no she isnt cheating and she said that i could stand outside and watch as proof but couldnt come inside as her ex husband doesnt want me there. this would have been our first christmas together. im all alone me and my family haven't spoken since i was 16. what am i to do to pass the time?

would you marry a women with experience that has had many men before you and while you are having sex she might compare you to other lovers she's had, or a women who has had no experience before and you will have to go through the trouble of teaching her how to please you???

I cant prove sex, but I can prove they were dancing sexy and makiing out on the dance floor.
Will that count as adultery -- if aout of the blue after that -- he says he fell out of love with me?

Wife wants to get a legal separation and says that when/if I find another woman I want to marry then we can do the actual divorce (FYI she wants out). She knows I want to date and hopefully remarry at some point because I want to have a wife that loves me forever (things are ending amicably and without drama or lawyers). She doesn't plan on dating until much later, when the kids are grown, so she sees no rush and we really are like each others best friends.

Should I do it this way? What will future prospects (dates) think about this? We are also planning on living near each other so we can both have unlimited access to the kids. One reason I considered this is because of the stigma of divorce! What do you think?

My parents and my husband don't get along. Long story short..my husband and I reconciled after a short separation and my parents are still bitter about the reasons that we separated...my husband is the kind of person who if someone doesn't like him he won't subject himself to being around them...my parents are the kind of people who expect spouses to go to family events regardless of the circumstances and try to keep personal differences to oneself during the event or holiday...My husband has just informed me that he is not going to go to my parents' for Christmas dinner because he is not going to be around a bunch of people who will be nice to his face and the minute he is gone talk trash about him and how he did me wrong before the separation. He thinks that he is doing me a favor by not putting himself in their presence, but the truth is I will catch just as much crap by him not being there. What should I do?

Hi again everyone. I will try not to make this too long but here is my situation. As usual I REALLY appreciate any and all help from you guys and ladies...so thanks and Merry Xmas!

Alright, to start out...my (future ex) wife and I got married last year when we found out the amazing news that we were having a baby. We were young and in love and wanted to marry anyways but this helped our choice.

So we got married, things weren't so great after awhile...we would argue, fight, be bitter, etc. I'm not saying I'm perfect and neither was she. Also in my opinion we are both GREAT parents. I love my little girl more than anything in the world. I would do anything for her, even fight fire and brimstone.

So my friend from Texas comes to visit us for xmas, I had a work vacation but it ran out and had to return. I came home one day to see them in bed together (the 20th of this month). Then found out it had been happening for 48 hours. My wife still fights and everything.

tell kids about Santa the truth that is. Okay here is the deal. My hubby had a bad divorce and now they split the holidays. This is our year to have them for the whole Santa thing. Well She told them last week Santa was not real! They are 7 and 10. We worked extra hard for this this year. We had cut backs at work and we struggled to make this happen and now she has told them. Well I have two kids of my own and soon they will know because she wanted to try and ruin our Christmas with them. So how old do you think and how did you break it to them? So I will have a idea about what to do for my kids. :( Inocence is soooo short.

I never changed my name or did anything official here in the U.S. so I'm not sure if I'm legally married here? I have been asking him for a divorce, but he won't give me one. It would be cheaper for him to do the divorce there in the Dominican Republic (where we were married). He is Dominican and is still living there. I am an American citizen and we have a child together. I want to know if our marriage is legal under U.S. law before I go and hire an attorney to officially divorce him.

My ex wife took my son to meet my parents for the first time. He is four years old and has never met them as I am estranged from them for 14 years due to my unpleasant and abusive upbringing. I took her to court over this and the outcome was that she needs to facilitate any meetings betwen them and this can only happen once a month. More importantly the first three meetings are to be at a visitation centre. This is in a county court order. Today is Christmas eve and I have found out that she has taken him to meet them at a coffee shop. This is the first meeting and no meetings have taken place at the centre. The order was made only 3 weeks ago. Are there any reprecussions to her breaking the court order? What can I do? Thanks.

I've been deployed overseas for 15 months. My wife and I got a house in another state and I came back to my duty station afterwards to start my out process from the military. I haven't seen her in 15 months and I want to do something really special for her when I get home on the 2nd of Janurary. I was thinking of buying her a a bath robe, putting it next to the door so when she comes home a trail of rose petals lead to a card in the room with some message and a nice bath prepared for her. Maybe some small sort of dinner afterwards and a night infront of the fire place doing marriage stuff. How would this be if your hubby did it ladies? And dudes got any other ideas that might help? Something you might have done.

Here's the short story...

Left my girlfriend's (of a year) house early in the morning to get changed. She got a call from her ex before I left. I didn't think anything of it. The plan was for me to go home and come back in 30 or so minutes. I did..only to find his car in the driveway. Ok..fine..so her ex stopped by. I'm confident I can deal with it. So I go inside..and they are exchanging this stuffed animal they used to share together. When we first got together..I knew they did this. They have "joint custody" of it. (we are in our 30s by the way.) But she knew it bothered me as I saw it as away for them to hold onto "something." They stopped doing it for awhile until today...the night before out first Christmas together.

Is it weird that I am so incredibly angry about this? I don't want this to blow up right before the holiday because I don't want to ruin anything...but I feel so humiliated that they did this again..and did it in front of me when they both know it bothers me.

know what you think if you heard this from your spouse: comments that the neighbor is beautiful, but you're "pretty", we can't afford to go away anywhere (been together for yrs.), forgot my bday more than once, jewelry and flowers are a waste of $, since I do the grocery shopping, I shouldn't need a couples night out, that should be my outting, when I suggested we go away after my big surgery (see other posts), was told he forgot all about it, then said "well, you did have a double mastectomy" (like I was some sort of freak).....and the best one of all....insinuated that he was doing something he didn't want to by performing or*l sex on me.....didn't want me to do oral on him.....didn't look at me during sex....which was usually only 10-15 min 1x about every 6 wks. And didn't kiss me either. I also found out he's been lying to me about working overtime for 15 yrs. I haven't been happy for a very long time and he's trying to get me to stay, yet talks about 3somes and me w/other men.

This year I bought her a pair of leather gloves and a warm-up suit (one of those running suits). She would have never known, until our 4yr old decided to tell her and she approached me yesterday and said, please return those gifts. I won't wear them. We were out shopping last night and she found some Christmas dishes and said, here, get these, wrap them up and make that my gift from the kids and You.

I feel bad. I wanted to do something that would have been a surprise, but now its too late. Were just about to go out for Christmas Eve.

We are talking about updating her wedding ring after Christmas, so I think that will suffice, right?
