Maybe if men realized how much a tiny bit of consideration once in a while could have a positive effect on relationships they would make an effort....sometimes it takes a slap in the face to wake them up. I think you just had yours.
It is almost New Years, why don't you make a resolution to pay attention to small things you could do to make your wife feel cared for. You can't send her flowers tomorrow, cause she will know you did it out of guilt, but what about doing so in March, or June? Look around for other ways to tell her you love her, especially when it isn't a special occasion. It will mean a lot to her.
You guys could get anything you want if you just played your cards right.

Just don't send her right now because she would know that you are only doing it because she said that. Wait about a month and send her flowers at her job with an invitation to dinner. That should get you off the hook for a little while. In the mean time hope you got her a really nice Xmas present.

She's too needy. Flowers are flowers. My dad hardly ever gets my mom flowers, maybe once every couple of years. Most men don't buy flowers, but some men love to do those sorts of things. Don't buy her flowers just bc she said that to you. She's trying to make you feel bad (which she obviously did) so you send her some. Forget it. Do something else more special instead of flowers. It's not all about the material things you know.

Sounds like your wife needs to learn that there is a lot more to a marriage than flowers and presents. I hope she's a better woman than what you've described her as. Cause so far, she seems like a very materialistic and ungrateful person.

Mine is a scardy cat! He is afraid of a little ole barking dog and won't get out of his truck. He makes me hike uphill 2 miles throught the snow and rain. Then throws the package at me at the same time he slams his foot on the gas! I have to catch my package at the same time gravel is flying in my face! Can we say P uss Y?

Now you have to make plans and fast. First, make a reservation at the finest restaurant for dinner and dancing. After which take her back home, leaving 1 flower and say but I am the one who loves you.

Wow... That must have been a slap on the face... Well, I think your best option is to be spontaneously romantic. This is your chance to shine! Create something special! I sure wouldn't send flowers. I would be mad, because I would feel like you did it because someone else did and you used their idea.
Use your own idea and make it good and show her your love too and supper bug hugs and kisses and tell her how much you love her.====
