I use to be that kind of person. Until, my husband has chosen to not stop drinking, lies, and even put my children in danger with it. I look at alcholism as a sickness, and I said "through sickness and health", is there a limit though to what I should allow my young children to be exposed to.

I've noticed some older women are bothered by men within their age range who are partnered with younger women, and young men being bothered by their counterparts being romantically involved with older men. Are most people disapproving of this or are is it generally accepted? Does it bother you?

I will get married next month to my boyfriend of four years. we have had a long distance relationship and live in Canada and USA. We lived together for four months when I studied in the USA. We always wanted to get married from very early on in the relationship, but decided to wait until my graduation. We are both 27

I trust him with my life
He's my best friend
I admire him so much
He has inspired me to be as kind and generous person as he is
He loved me at my worst
He always offered his support even at the darkest and scariest times (I had a miscarriage, deaths in the family, I was a victim of gun violence targeted specifically because I was a women)
I never want to be with another man for as long as I live

I just want some advice because...In the wedding section its all " registries, showers, flowers, wedding colours..." and I think here, people have a little more experience with what happens after the lust diminishes...

does this sound like an alcoholic..my husband of 8 years never drank..all of a sudden the past 5 months he has been drinking maybe 3x a week..he gets blasted. i told him i do not want alcohol in the house, because it is not healthey for my 5 and 6 year old to see. Sometimes he is drunk and I asked why he is drinking with the kids in the house and he lies and says he did not drink..even though it is obvious.
Tonight around 5pm, i saw him going to the garage and i followed behind him..because i had a feeling that he was drinking and he pulled out a bottle and started drinking..so now he is hiding his liquor.
i did experience some bad episodes in the summer..one time he cursed me out calling me a piece of **** and slaming cabinets for about an hour (kids were asleep) ...If he is lying to me about drinking, how can I trust him..I also work nights and one time, my son called me up, because his dad was asleep and wouldn't wake up..he was drunk! Does it sound like he is an alcoholic

We've been married 14years, and its boring as hell! She won't go anywhre,do anything, have fun,sexX2 monthly(boring). Its all about her 2 adult dead beat kids, they are grown(not really), but at least not home should I stay or GO enjoy the rest of my years?????

it seems like every one is leaving in my life, my parents are getting a divorce, and my mom has a tumor. my sister and my mom fight a lot and my dad dosent like to get into it. at night i hear my mom talking to her friends on the phone saying how my dad never does anything and how my sister disrespects her, they both complain to me and think i know the answers. i don't want to move out of my house i like it here. my moms moving out really soon and wants me to go with her. and to make matters worse my grandfather just passed away and my grandmother just admitted to the hospital this thanksgiving. i try to put on a smile to cover everything up and make it seem like its all okay. but its not working anymore. i seriously don't know what to do anymore. help?

Would you put up with this? I mean HONETLY, dont let any of you feminest mumbo jumbo get in the way of your answer. (Dont mean that feminest are bad I'm a HUGE ONE!) I recently met a woman that has a child in my kids preschool. Long story short but my daughter went for a play date at there house and I noticed she wasnt sitting to comfortably? Anyways it came out that her husband had spanked her for cursing out one of his clients wives at a "Business Dinner" Of course my reaction was that she needed to leave ASAP, BUT she says that it only happens about once or twice a year and that he would never do anything other than spank her (married 15 yrs). She said that the spankings aren't worth leaving her marriage. Her husband is a millionare. Literallly. She got a car for her birthday that cost as much as my house, lives in a house the same size as my apparment building, etc. HONESTLY would you stay with a man that could give you and your kid all of that and just take the spanking

I received a phone call telling me that I will deploy to Iraq for 4 months and will leave in 1 week. I landed in Iraq I heard that she was pregnant! I was happy! A month and half past and find out that before we had gotten married she was living with her best friend whos dating her exboyfriend. her exboyfriend “raped” her. He was drunk and she says she said no. she tells me the baby might not be mine. We had a LONG argument on weather or not to have the baby. We both agreed that we were not ready, but we still wanted the child. She now holds this against me saying it was my idea for the abortion. I will love the child but with great hesitation. She has now told me that she is falling out of love with me but she still misses me. She also told me when I get back she wants to live at her dads and not with me! I was outraged that she would even propose such an idea. I have given her 2 months of pay. She needs to save money but when told that she blows up at me saying that its her money.

own way. We have a 19 year old daughter, she still lives at home, goes to college and does not know we are divorced. My ex gets on my nerves and I can not stand him but for my daughters sake I can not kick him out. What can I do to tolerate this situation with out loosing my mind? Can someone help me in telling - as to how much time it takes in India to get divorce in case un-contested divorce (one-party only). In total approximately how many times will the family court set dates for hearning the other party. How many months in total it takes generally for uncontested divorce cases.
