There are many different levels of love, and it is possible to care for two people at the same time, but I doubt if it is in the same way. If someone has a girlfriend and is married, then the gf must fulfill a need for sex, understanding, or something they aren't getting from the marriage...at the same time you think so little of your spouse that you don't mind lying and deceiving her.... what does that say about how much you love your wife...the relationships can't possibly be based on love.

...and this is WHY humans should AVOID marriage! The immature ones have NO CLUE what lifetime committment entails.
Ok, this is the thing, if you work with this other woman, chances are you are only seeing a good side her her. If she is flirting with you and she knows you are married, then she has no respect for other people's situations. Do you think someone like that warrents love??
If you really feel as though you've fallen in love with someone else, I suggest you take a chance to get yourself alone for a weekend or even a day to think. And figure out what has put this space between you and your wife. You need to be reminded why you took those vows...

Im hoping by girlfriend you mean girl who is a friend. Anyway, it is possible if you're that kind of guy who will eventually cheat on his wife. It's when you say you would never and then you do. Just be smart and dont cheat on your wife. If you respect her, hopefully more than you love her at this point, do the right thing.

What good is going to come of this. Affairs usually blow up. Stick with your wife, esp. if you have kids. Unless there is a good reason to leave you wife stay with her. Or are you that capricious that you would ruin the foundation of marriage with the lust you have for someone else. Ultimately your choice, just be a responsible person and tell your wife if you want to be with this other woman. If you still love your wife then you would realise that a secret affair is the ultimate in lack or respect and betrayal. I personally think you can't have your cake and eat it too. What is the point of marriage then... till death or till I find better...

Love has no boundaries and you feel it when you like someone very close to you. To be closer to an opposite sex is one way to understand & sympathize her and love her in the end.
Yup, its possible to love your wife and girl friend but not the same level. Your love to each one is never been the same you feel to other one but in another criteria.
You can feel this when you become parent and the more he has new born baby, his happiness is enlighten and another love crreated but the love for other kids still there undeminished.

You sound like my husband. Choose your wife. In the end it will be the most rewarding choice. I wish you the best, this heart ache should not be felt by anyone. Remember, if she "takes you back" and askes no questions, she really was the right choice. Good luck

I think it's very possible to love two people. People that have more than one child love both. You love both of your parents, grandparents. I bet if you give it a lot of thought you can come to the conclusion which one you love more. Since you do love both women you don't want to hurt them anymore than you already have so I strongly recommend that you pick just one and give her all your love. That way you can give one woman all you heart and attention instead of having to divide yourself.

Yes it is. Hope you love the girlfriend as a friend though and if she cares anything about you, she will not allow your relationship to go beyond friendship.

No ... if you "think" you love them both .... that means that the ONLY one you TRULY love is YOURSELF!
Love makes sacrifices .... If you TRULY loved them BOTH ... then you would RESPECT them BOTH enough to make a
decision between the two of them ... As it is now ... You are
making a fool out of them both!
If you REALLY love your wife and you value your life with her ... then you will sacrifice whatever feelings and thrills you
get from your girlfriend .... and re-commit yourself to your marriage .... OR why not have the guts and the character to
tell your wife that it is over.... and move on with your girlfriend.
Again, love is unselfish .... and right now .... with YOU and the TWO of them .... You are the Captain of SELF!
