I received a phone call telling me that I will deploy to Iraq for 4 months and will leave in 1 week. I landed in Iraq I heard that she was pregnant! I was happy! A month and half past and find out that before we had gotten married she was living with her best friend whos dating her exboyfriend. her exboyfriend “raped” her. He was drunk and she says she said no. she tells me the baby might not be mine. We had a LONG argument on weather or not to have the baby. We both agreed that we were not ready, but we still wanted the child. She now holds this against me saying it was my idea for the abortion. I will love the child but with great hesitation. She has now told me that she is falling out of love with me but she still misses me. She also told me when I get back she wants to live at her dads and not with me! I was outraged that she would even propose such an idea. I have given her 2 months of pay. She needs to save money but when told that she blows up at me saying that its her money.

She wont press charges. she says she is too nice. I have already reported it to the police but they wont do anything about it until she comes forward. I think its too late for her to come out about it. there would be no proof.

Former Marine who worked alot of cases like this. You need to go to legal and make sure you are paying what she SHOULD receive and that's it. If she said any of these thingd in email or voicemail, keep them. Too many times I have seen the 'find a military hubby-daddy' thing happen to good people. Please do not take her conversation lightly. It sounds as though it was a quick marriage anyhow. Get a DNA immediately. Because you are married to her in most States your name will go on the birth certificate and you will be bound to child support no matter who the dad is. This is why you may need to get a divorce sooner than later or at least a separation. PLEASE go to legal and get some advice. It's FREE....don't be crazy in love or you will end up being BROKE and ALONE. Stay safe out there.........Oorah!

You need to hold them horses back some. You need to stop sending money to her except what she might need but, putting some back for you. It doesn't say if you are married or not. She needs to go to her dads if that is where she is going to be when you come home. She doesn't need to wait till you come back. Sounds like you both could use some counseling but, being in two different places doesn't help. She needs to tell you what she wants and needs out of this relationship and, you need to tell her the same.
If she is just your girlfriend and she already told you this baby might not be yours then she needs to do right by the child. It isn't easy to raise a child from rape. Are you sure she really was? You don't want to send her all your money and come back to none..sorry I don't think I am helping...I just don't want to see you lose everything over this....

stop sending her money unless you are married.
you need to demand a dna test. if it isnt your baby, you will need to decide if you can love this child the way it needs to be loved. if you cannot commit to that, then she needs to go. dont blame the child, or treat him/her wrong because of the situation. they didnt ask to be brought into this world. the x "raping" her???? sounds suspicious.see if she will press charges, because if he truly is a rapist, he needs to be stopped before he does this to someone else.

If you love her, then you will love what she gives birth to. She should seek rape charges against the other fellow, these days it is easier to get a conviction of rape. Hormones may influence her rationality today. *Goodwill*
