i am trying to find a website that i can investigate someone, to find out if they are married.

Your county's website. There should be a legal link.

All you need to know is the county the may have been married in. Then go to that county's web sight and search the public records wit their name. In some counties you may have to pay a small fee.

You can do in-depth background searches but they will cost you a lot and even then, if someone has tried to hide the fact, it's possible. Trust your gut. If you suspect he's married, he probably is.

Often times you can go to the county records and if you have a soc # name and age you can find out.

Since you trust the guy so much you can ask him!

where do you live? here in the philippines, we can get a "certificate of no marriage record" (cenomar) from the national statistics office (census). the government agency came up with that document because more and more people are pretending to be single. it is a good safeguard, i think
