My wife and I have been married since June of this year. Our marriage has been anything but smooth. I don't put all of the blame on her because I have made some bad planning. Our reason for getting married was largely based on us having a baby. We argue almost every day, and we have nothing in common. We come from totally diffrent backgrounds. I am from the big northeastern city, she grew up in a small town in the south. I', 26 and shes 19, Her parents have been married for 30 yrs, mine are divorced., and not to mention I have a meddling mother-in-law. I dont't know what todo.

My Sister in law had an 7 month affair that was exposed to everyone who known these people.
The divorce was my bother (1/2) who has challenged the NOFAULT RULE in Ca., stating the affair was the primary cause of divorce and asked the JUDGE for a CAUSE OF ACTION with detail so as to sue his wife for custody, and majority potion of the community property!

HE GOT IT on all counts and got 90% of the community property as well as physical custody of the children because he proved that his wife started to CO- habituate with individual who she was having the AFFAIR WITH and did not want his kids around the man!

Now let me say this I think the whole think STINKS to high HEAVEN, and both party's need to grow up, that said I can't fathom how this woman had the affair, how the LAWS of NO FAULT could be side stepped like this.
I practice Financial Meadion so I'm out of element on subject .

HAS ANYONE HERE HEARD OF THIS BEING APPIED TO DIVORCE LAWS?

that you don't know what you would tolerate unless you were in a given situation?? Has anyone (relationship wise) ever tested your limits and you tolerated it? What was the outcome?

My ex-girlfriend has been acting strange. We were together for almost 3 years. However, she ended the relationship, but yet hasnt let go. She calls me or texts me everday. She even invites me out to lunch where she'll pay sometimes, so she's not using me for money. She says we won't be getting back together, but to me her actions are so different. How many ex-girlfriends break up with the guy, and yet they are the one that does all the contacting, also when were out she tries to be extremely flirty with me and only me. All my friends think she's holding onto something that she's just trying to see me put forth some effort when it comes to us. Yet she adamently says no we wont be dating again. Shes also pretty touchy with me when were out. Everyone but her says they think we'll get back together if its what I want, thats how confident they are she'll come back to me. She says I really hurt her, but for someone that was so hurt it doesnt make sense for her to keep coming around. Lost?

I want a change in my life. I've been in a redundancy marriage for sixteen years. I know, I had to have a 'reason' to have stayed. If I want to ask her to share the wealth with a different person, and let me spend the next 16 yrs doing something less complicated, am I wrong?

My wife and I have been married for 15 years. I love her and I know she loves me. We never fight, never hit each other, we're both hard workers, but here's the problem... since about the first year after we married, she cut our sex life by half, the following 2 years, by half again, and by the 4th year, I was the only one interested in making love! She would make love to me after me asking her after a month or two, but was realy never inot it as I'd like her to be. The following years were worst! The last 8 years, if I tried to kiss her she'd turn her head, if I touched her body or caressed her sexually, she would push my hand away, and tell me to leave her alone, if I talked about making love, she'd ignore me or do something else, or tell me to be quiet if she was watching TV, etc. I have even left her alone for weeks to see if she would try herself, but she didn't even try once! I even left her twice wanting to divorce because of this. She asked me to come back and I did!

He says he is getting tired of me but I love him more than anything and I want to start a fresh new year and make him happy and not be so upset with me...Any advice??? Been dating my fiance for 5 years. We started discussing how to split up the holidays when we are married. He works for the railroad and isn't home on the actual holiday unless he takes it off. He can't take off all holidays because he can get in trouble for this at his job. Also, he gets paid more than double by working them. He could probably lay off one holiday but not both. He's pretty much an only child, since his parents don't see his other brothers hardly ever. So he says if he doesn't go to his parents they won't celebrate holidays at all, which I think is more their problem than his. I have 2 little brothers still at home, so it's important to my family to have the holidays on the actual day; his parents have them whenever he's home. So, basically he wants to spend all holidays with his parents, and said if he took off the actual day and spent it with my family, he would feel guilty for spending it with my family and not his.

I make her spend her $5000 allowance each month. If she doesn't I make her roll it over to the next month and then have to spend it plus the other month's allowance. She says she simply can't spend it all each month and she's getting tired of trying? Does this sound cruel to you?????

I just found out that my husband gave a key to OUR house to his ex wife. They have a son together and that is why but he never told me. I am upset because I dont want HER to have access to our house when we aren't home. In his defense, he tells me HIS SON has a key... not her. Well, he is 8 years old. Am I wrong?

I want so badly to adopt my step-daughter. My husband gained full custody of her 4 years ago due to abuse. She doesn't call and hasn't seen her in a year next month. She hasn't paid child support since Nov. 04. My daughter wants me to be her mommy and doesn't want her other mom. My husband and I both want her to be mine officially but his ex wont sign the papers. We even told her that we would forgive all owed child support if she signed the papers. Is there anything I can I do? I am going to contact an attorney as soon as we can afford to go through such a legal battle.
