I have several close friends and always have, though not always the same ones, they changed through the years. The ones I have now have been around for about 10 years.
My husband has no close friends, but he has friends. Not ones that come over, though.
We have no couples friends. I think we should have but he works so much and when he gets home he works in his garage or watches tv.
It is rather boring.

My husband and I have many friends, even after a 27 year marriage, maybe not all the friends from high school or college, but from work and and other places.

My wife and I, have many close friends, does networking=visiting/enjoying, if yes, then we also network!! It takes years to develope close friends, we both have friends that we see/talk to on a 1to1 way!! I've always enjoyed alot of friends, and I too can be counted on, if they need me, I'll be there, as soon as I can tie my shoes!!
