My bff got married about 3 yrs ago and it was hell for her since the beginning. Well now she got divorced and I've always liked her husband (she was the crazy one in the marriage) and we get along great and have great conversation. I never said or even did anything to express my feelings during her marriage i was very respectful. Her and I had a major falling out but I still talk to him...I think I like him! Our falling out had nothing to do with him... Is that wrong?

And the guy is a good 12 years younger than her, and really has no shot. Please tell me how you honestly would feel.

Thanks

i have been with my partner for 7 years on and off we have a 4yr old daughter. He was my first love, when i was pregnant we split up and i met someone else nothing happened though as i was preg.
Anyway me and my partner got back together when my daughter was born that was for years ago, i still speak to the other guy.
My partner and i often argue about silly things, we hardly ever make love and have both admitted we wouldnt be together if we hadnt had our daughter.
Do you think we can make it or shall i leave?

Long story but my Husband and I had seperated for about 2 months. We both were seeing other people before we decided to work it out. He was seeing this girl for 3 weeks and when he dumped her, she went crazy. She emailed him & ME trying to start problems. He told her that we were working it out. We blocked her... then she email's us from another email address. He and I just ignored her. She let us be for about 2 weeks almost and now she is texting him! He refuses to reply. He showed me the text messages and basiclly she was trying to turn him against me.

His plan is to ignore her. Do you think she will just eventually go away if he ignores her? Ive tried to tell her, he's tried to tell her and she just goes crazy!

How should hubby of 9.5 yrs and i communicate when it comes to my eldest daughter(14 yrs old) who is from my first marriage? Our arrangment has always been that all major discipline for my eldest daughter was handled by me and my hubby would simply monitor the situation only making comments to me in private.Ever since she turned 13 she has been horrible toward her step-dad spitting at him, screaming(cursing) at him, shoving him,and telling him constantly that he's not her dad.The reason is usually because her outfit was inappropriate and told her to change,he cant or wont drive her to the mall ect. She has even started treating her own siblings badly bullying them. She put nair in her12 yr old (bio)sisters hair, cut her eyelashes and shaved her eye brows. She told her younger siblings ages 12,9,9,8,7 that she hates them and does not consider them related because my 8 yr old is adopted and the rest are only half siblings .I have gotten her under control for the moment but how do..

This is a military question. My husband says he won't have to supply my daughter and myself with health benefits after the divorce is final. I'm under the assumption that he continues to give my daughter benefits while he is still in the military until she's 18. And he continues to give me benefits until he leaves the miltary or I re-marry. What's the truth here?

What name do I sign? We are legally married and we are just waiting on the certified copy of the marriage certificate before I change my drivers licence and social security card. So am I still legally my last name or am I his?

First time wife ;) help me out!

Oh yea and HOW do I change my name? I assume I just take our marriage certificate to the social security office and then the DMV. He doesn't know either.

My cousin has been married for 3 years to a man that has not been able to keep a job longer than a few months. During her pregnancy, she supported him, working two jobs and attending college while he sat on his butt. Their son is now 1 and she has been living back at her parents house for the past 2years while he has been in and out of jail. She recently confided in me that her husband was unfaithful to her and as a result she contracted chlamydia from him during her pregnancy. I listened to her and hugged her while she cried like so many other times when he has let her down. Two weeks later he got out of jail and they were "back together" even though they still live seperately and he does not provide for his child. She has made it very clear to me and our entire family that no matter what he does, she loves him. I have accepted that she has chosen to be treated this way. How can I politely tell her that I no longer wish to hear about their ups and downs?

What do you think about this? My partner (we are married) went out on Saturday with girlfriends midday and didnt get back til 10pm. She spent all today in bed. She didnt even discuss it first just said she was going out (she has already been out twice this week)
So i had to look after our child all weekend and have had no time with wife at all
I said to her you should spend most time with the one you love ie me, but she wouldnt listen
I am the only earner in our house so work all week just to have weekend with the family and wife - she doesnt work and also we have a full time nanny
is it only me that thinks this is unreasonable?

romantically on and off with. The morning of the move I woke him up to explain that I was going to be home on my lunch break with the movers and we were going to move all my furniture (which would've left him with really not much, but I had to take everything because it was my dads) anyways he freaked out saying I was a ugly ***** for moving and started talking all kinds of ****. I told him "why should I stay here, we don't get along and it's not working out". Lots of yelling back and forth at one another, calling eachother every name in the book he took a knife out and cut my furniture. I was furiated. I ran to his xbox to show that I could easily break this if I wanted and it accidentally dropped out of my hands. This set him off in a rage and he ended up punching me in my leg. He broke my cell phone in half so I couldn't call anyone and I ended up leaving and called the cops. Now after moved to my dads i'm feeling guilty for everything. Do you think I should be guilty?

Im not there with him because I wasnt invited...I trust him for the most part and I know he loves me and loves our marriage and what we have together...should I be worried about what hes up to...because I would find myself waking up at like 2 and 3 in the morning last night wondering what he was doing...I dont want to call him and bother him because I do want him to have a good time. If you are a happily married man(I know most of you would say you wouldnt go without your wife but this was a trip he had planned before we were married and theres a lot more to it)in Vegas without your wife what would you be up to?

Is it OLD AGE?? ...that makes the man "grumpy" ..or could it be a "nagging" wife/woman that can turn a good man into a "grumpy" man. I am very curious about this! Don't know for sure if this comes from the outside that in turn makes a man or woman to be like this, either "grumpy" for us males OR a "nagging" wife for the females. Or maybe its just old age, coming into a woman's or man's way of thinking, whining, reasoning, complaining, etc. Thanks guy for your honest answers in advance!

and any advice hehe.
I am finally going to tell my best friend I love him. I have known him for 6 years, when I told him this 3 years back, he said he wanted to be just friends.
We continued as if nothing happened. But now alot has changed. He broke up with his gf a year back. I look hotter, am more self confident and he said so too!
I might end up losing a bit of my self esteem, big deal, atleast he will know how much I love being with him! and would like it to be like that forever...
( I am 25 yrs old, just got an awesome new job) I know its taking a big chance, I might be crushed forever.. or maybe the friendship but he needs to know... right?
oh and I am putting up this question in the marriage section, because of the more mature answers and reflections :D

its not that i look to fight with him when i feel like it. but i've learned from others that even if it has to be from fighting, if two people can get things out in the open about each other's falws it gives an opertunity to better themselves. i ask him tons of things just to even get the slightest critisizm.

what's wrong with me? -
nothing, i love you the way you are

me - you don't mind being married to a "walking crayon"? (my hair is lavender, i wear really colorful clothes, thats another long story)
him - "of course not, you color up my life!"
me - "your hair is pretty messy today"
him - "i'll go and fix it if you want, yours is looking great by the way."
me - "you know, sometimes i think you're too good for me"
him - "that can't be right, i think you're perfect"

im not ungreatful or insecure about anything, its just i really want to be in the same level with him. he treats me like im a queen which i can't be ok with, i have my falws, and sometimes i want him to be honest with me

I'm trying to decide whether or not I should shave my pubic area for my woman. Do women these days pretty much expect that their men keep that area shaved? If so, whats acceptable (just neatly groomed, all off or what)?
