I mean a man will show a dog more affection then his girl then turn to her a say you know i love you right? No we don't if you can spend an half a hour rubbing an patting a dog can i get a Lil of that? We just wanna feel and SEE that you love us show us don't just say it show us let us know. that's just how we as woman are." then he kissed me & started playing his game again(lol)

I had a hard time with this as well but I learned the in's and out's of my hubby's personality and just because he does not say he loves me often, I know he does. Actions speak louder then words. He's affectionate in his own way and I accept it for what it is. A little pat on the tush here and there speaks volumes for me!

It means the man who acts that way was brought up by parents unable to express love to their children in very personal ways.. such as hugs... holding a childs hand everywhere they went when the child was young, such as stting with the child on the couch and reading to the child. .. and so on.
A wise man or woman brought up by such parents would do very very well to remember the distinct sorrow and emptiness felt because the parent did not physically express their powerful love for the child.
I add, it seems that many men and women brought up this way..with little in the way of touching by parent to child ..often end up equating sex with love. In NO way is sex love. It is just a grown up expression physically of becoming one with ones spouse.
I hope this helped.

Because women show their feelings by being affectionate. Although this may not be your way of showing your feelings, bite the bullet and do it once in a while for her.

men and women are SO DIFFERENT. women are all about the over dramatics, the dozen roses for no reason except for being "your girl". We are dependent on the affection and such because we mainly want to feel special. I suppose its nothin personal but you might want to consider swinging by the florist when you get out of work tonight ;-)

I have been w/my husband for 18 yrs and I'm starving for affection. I have even told him to do several different things that would make me feel good. Women enjoy a touch, hug, ect. Its a direct way to their hearts.

Because to love someone, or to love a woman, you have to show it to them otherwise they will think that you have lost interest in them.
A woman wants to feel loved, and cared for (usually).
