I am finally going to tell my best friend I love him. I have known him for 6 years, when I told him this 3 years back, he said he wanted to be just friends.
We continued as if nothing happened. But now alot has changed. He broke up with his gf a year back. I look hotter, am more self confident and he said so too!
I might end up losing a bit of my self esteem, big deal, atleast he will know how much I love being with him! and would like it to be like that forever...
( I am 25 yrs old, just got an awesome new job) I know its taking a big chance, I might be crushed forever.. or maybe the friendship but he needs to know... right?
oh and I am putting up this question in the marriage section, because of the more mature answers and reflections :D

First of all you have known this person for six years and 3 years back he said he wanted to be just friends. but now since he broke up with his girlfriend you think you have a chance of being more than friends. Now your twenty five years older he does not see you as someone he is attracted to other than being friends. It is best that you remain Friends with this person because if you per sue him in a relationship aspect you may lose him as a friend. Are you willing to lose him as friend that's my question some people are better off being friends take this from me though my own experience i lost a good friend behind having relationship him.

You go girl....! ! ! And I do wish you the best of luck. Yes, he does need to know how you feel towards him. You may be crushed since he has not approached you already, but you know this. You never know if he has feelings for you until you talk to him. Maybe he is a bit shy so it's a good thing that you spill your guts to him. I doubt if it will end your friendship with him if he does not feel the same about you. But I agree that you should talk to him and tell him how you feel. (smile)

You will just let him know where you stand. See how he reacts. If he is unsure or acts afraid then you can always be the one that is a little more aggressive. Just don't be to aggressive to push him away.
