Marriage & Divorce - 21 October 2007

I have been married to my wife for 3 years. And the past 4 months we have been having problems. It all started out like this.

We seemed very happy, we had very few problems. But I had to go on an extended business trip and could not take my wife with me. So I had my wife go to her parents house because we were planning on relocating and I had to find a place first.

When I was gone my wife started saying things like "you just shipped me out here because you want to divorce me." etc etc.... my wife for some reason got the idea in her head that I was abandoning her, which was FARTHEST from the truth. Realizing there was problems, I quit my new job opportunity and packed my bags and drove all the way across country to try and fix our marriage.

Rivers Run One Way"

Do you ever wonder why rivers run one way,
have you sat in silence, a special place you stay.
Many thoughts abound, yet spoken words not heard,
Alone or lonely, a choice we make, how it seems absurd.

Thinking of the past, seeing success and failure too,
sitting close to GOD, is what I vigilantly must do.

Winds of change appear, yet rarely do we see,
the forest through the trees, as winds lift you and me.
This chatter that I hear,, makes my stomach turn,
living everyday for him,, a new love that I must earn.
Look,, there's GOD,, In the wind, the birds, the wind, the trees,
Painting pictures by the river, always there to please.
You are like my river, in my heart you stay.....
Do you ever wonder,,, "Why Rivers Run One Way?

GOD knows,,,, Tom Caswell tommy_caswell2000@yahoo.com email me I will send you poem and pic :)

This is kind of delicate, so don't be assholes,
Ok, so, i'm 18 years old, and I've got this sister that's 13 years old.
Once, by mistake, I found in my browser history links to porn, and the time was around when my little sister was at home, ok, i said to myself, she might have accesed a wrong link, big deal, it happenes sometimes.
A couple of days later, i found porn history again, and, I was like, ****, she's got her privacy & stuff, but it's gotta' stop.
So I just went and told her "Be carefull what sites you're gong into, ok, if I catch you doing this one more time, i'll tell mom"
Today, guess what, I checked the history again, just to be shure, and, surprize, more porn.
Now, i'm shure it's my little sister, but I don't know what to do. I mean, it would be a little embarassing for me to tell mom about this, and I do belive she has the right of discovering things on her own, but she's still little, easy to influence by the stuff she might see.

.. as soon as the hubby is under, your average wife is out looking for a new mate .. particular attention paid to annual remuneration of course, nothing less than what she's accustomed to is remotely considered.
Men are the faithful partners however .. they'll go to their graves with the memory of their wives still held dear.
In this respect men are like dogs, faithful and true. Women are more like cats, out for the next meal, easy come easy go.

Hello
Me and my husband have been married for a little over a year now...My husband is in the military..While, he was away on tour everything seemed to be perfect..When he first, came home we had already been married for 7 months without seeing each other..Things where good...The sad part is that he is stationed across seas, so thats what keeps us apart..He promised that I would be coming with him..But it's been 8 months now and I still haven't madeit there yet...He said, our paper work will not go through..For all different type of reasons...Even though everything is find with me and they shouldn't have any reason to hold us back from not coming..However, he's been over sea's by himself...And the man that I married seems to not exsist anymore. I mean he calls...Every now and then but mostly I call him... He seems so distant and distracted..But in the next breath will tell me how he needs his wife and wants to keep his family....

My husband and I have been seperated for 4 years. If we decide to eventually divorce whose state law will take precedence? He lives (we lived together)in a community property state. I don't. Also they have vastly different alimony laws. (We have been married 30+ years)

In a relationship with boyfriend. He promises he will move in with you if you move somewhere else as current place isn't big enough. You find a house (you are 7 month pregnant with his baby) you pay the deposit etc and begin to move in, he changes his mind as he says his exams at xmas are more important right now than me & baby. He says he'll maybe move in after exams. Exams are 5-6 weeks away, baby is due in 10 weeks. I love him to bits but feel being put at 2nd priority now to exams does not bode well for future. I'm wondering now if this relationship really has any future.

Why is it people always blame for woman if a guy has an affair(this has nothing to do with me,I've just noticed this)?

For example:Rebecca Loos,EVERYONE blamed her for having an affair with David Beckham, but hardly anyone blamed HIM(of course they were both in the wrong, but without him saying yes to Rebecca the affair could not have taken place).
Some people even layed the blame on Victoria Beckham for not being a good enough wife.

Why do people do this???

This is a disappointing discovery in a new relationship, and Iwonder how many couples face the prospect of a man needing manual manipulation because he cannot seem to "get there" inside a woman. Is this part of middle age?

She wanted to talk "as friends" and said it would be good to hear my voice. She hoped I was doing well. Truthfully, I'd be doing much better if she hadn't been unfaithful and left be with no choice but to divorce her. She has remarried and has her own family now.

I love my boyfriend and we have been together for nearly 4 years and have 2 kids together and my family like him but they dont want me to marry him. As I said I do love him but im not sure myself if I want to marry him. He's caring and treats me lovely and is great dad but he can be sarcastic and ignorant and sometimes I feel I wont be able to put up with it for the rest of my life. All he goes on about is gettin married and I keep making up excuses like we cant afford it etc and I have told him the truth and he just says we meant to be together. I'm 19 and he's 24 and I keep telling him we have got alot of time before we have to think about getting married.
What should I do?

Husband is an alcoholic and lost his job about two years ago. At that point everything was transfored into the wifes name - including the house. The wife makes all of the money and wants to leave her husband. She does not want to ruin her credit but can not stay at that house. Her husband can not afford to pay for the house on his own. She does not know if the husband will even leave the house once she leaves. How can she lose her house "smartly" without having her credit get ruined?

Does maturity still count.Does physical attributes count the most. Can growing older be a beautiful enriching process to you when a potential male partner is looking at you?

I feel so disgusting inside. My husband and I have been separated for three months. However, we attended my sister's wedding yesterday and my children and I were part of the wedding party. I did have chapmagne making me relaxed by the end of the night. I went to bed, was awaken by him telling me he wanted to make love to me. I said no and he did anyway. I feel horrible since he has a history of degrading and disrespecting me. I feel awful inside and keep crying. I feel raped. He took advantage of me......... AGAIN. I just feel so horrible inside. Was this wrong of him? We were separated (at my request) and I thought I could trust him home for the night.

I live in Phila, PA. I don't qualify for Legal Aid as I'm what you would call the "working poor" I'm barely making it as it is yet my current salary puts me out of the realm any "Legal Aid" services.
I share legal and physical custody of my daughter with her Dad. We were never married. This past summer he filed a false report of abuse against me with DHS and my daughter was removed from my home. I finally got her back but this past weekend her Dad missed his weekend with her and he called DHS again with another false report. I need to fight this but don't have the cash and again do my qualify for legal aid. Are there "Pro Bono" lawyer listings anywhere?

For several months now, I've been telling him how I feel (ignored, used, unwanted). He says he'll change then he doesn't. I already left him once, maybe I should leave for good. I feel like everyone's feelings matter but my own, he pays more attention to his family and friends. He leaves me at home with the baby all day while he works, or hangs out with his friends. He even leaves in the middle of the night without telling me where he's going( he did this last night after he promised he wouldn't). I don't know, I'm just do sick of this.

What did you do to pay it off? Was the lawyer understanding? How long did it take you to pay it off? I'm talking about a bill of $30,000. Did they let you pay it off over time?
