It is much easier to do at the time of the divorce, as it can be included in your divorce decree, but in most states you will have to contact a lawyer to change your name again.

First you contact the Social Security Administration, send them your birth certificate, Social Security number and Divorce Decree and request the name change. Then you go to the DMV and fill out the paper for the name change for your driver's license. That is all there is to that.

When you fill out your divorce forms/documents, there's a place there that asks you if you want to keep your married name or change it back and you fill that part in the way you want it and it acts as your name change document and gets recorded in public records how you want it.

You can change your name as part of the divorce. Then you do not have to pay for the name change separately.

To change name, it is necessary to notify in print media, wherein you will describe the detail leading to change of name to the maiden name. This will be a approved method which cannot be challenged in the court of law.

This can be done as a part of your divorce decree. It can be written on the divorce papers you file. If you haven't done that, go to the courthouse and ask who you need to talk with to have this legally done.

In Pa all you have to do is go to the court house in the county you reside in and have a copy of your divorce decree. It cost me 8 dollars. Ask your lawyer, they should know.

when I got divorced they asked me in court if I wanted to keep it or change it. Ask there at the courthouse. Did not cost me anything to do it at that time. But was told they charge if you wait and do it later.

When the divorce is final just change it back the same way you did when you got married.
Not a biggie.
