Do you mean what would I like my partner to tell me more often? That's how I understand your question, so that's what I'll answer.
I guess it would be that he appreciates me, things I do for him that often go unnoticed because they are just expected, like making dinner, keeping the house clean, doing his laundry.

I'm sorry, but really meaning it rather than to get past the situation. He hates conflict, so once something is done, whoosh, it is out of his head. And I'm still hurt, or angry, or whatever emotion his behavior brought up.
