Have you married more than three times? If so, how many times? and Why have you chosen to keep marrying?

I know several people that have been married more than twice, with the marriages ending in divorce and not death.

I always wonder why they don't realize that they have some sort of issue with marriage. They either aren't very good at picking marriage partners, or they aren't a very good marriage partner. Maybe they should realize that, and stop the serial weddings.

I mean, anyone can make a mistake one time and marry badly. A second divorce, and that should be a big clue that one of the above things (they either aren't very good at picking marriage partners, or they aren't a very good marriage partner) might be true. A third divorce, and it should be crystal clear.

Or maybe the person is just in love with the idea of falling in love. Once the new wears off the relationship, they don't want to have to deal with the reality of a relationship. You know, the dirty unders and socks left on the bedroom floor, etc. They go off to find another new and shiny relationship. Maybe someday they won't be so shallow.

Not me but...
Aunt 1 - married 7 times; always says its "true love" this time
Aunt 2 - married 8 times; says she needs a man to take care of her
Aunt 3 - married 4 times; says a woman needs a man in her life
Grandmother - married 12 times (first time being my Grandfather and was her longest marriage) and I don't know why she keeps getting married I don't talk to her.

This is my dad's mom and sisters. He's looked at as the "black sheep" for having been married only once.

I have been married for 8 yrs.. I know it doesn't seem like much.. But if I ever got divorced, I'd never do it again.. Mainly cause I wouldn't want to be married to anyone else

I was married for 31 years, a life time if you ask me, would I do this again, no way!!!!!!!!!
