My husband invited me to a dinner after a golf tournament that he was in. I made babysitting arrangements for the kids and got ready. He called me and asked me to hurry and come. So I arrive at the dinner, and they are still giving out awards. I wait until that is finished and go up to my husband and he says he is ready to go. I said I just got here and I thought we were having dinner together. He said he felt uncomfortable there and just wanted to go home. So since I drove myself, we both left separately. When we got home he didn't seem concerned that I had made arrangements to have a night out with him and was looking forward to it, and hadn't eaten yet. I spent extra time getting ready and all for nothing. He made no attempts to make it up, just tuned me out. So what to do, Im tired of arguing about something that should be pretty clear. How would you handle this?

This married man at work and I have been playing games with each other for a few months now. I'm also married. I know he likes me and I like him. The thing is that I think that the both of us are too afraid to admit it because we know it's wrong for a lot of reasons. But the problem is that my heart can't take it anymore. It keeps aching for him more and more. I've fallen for him, but I'm afraid to be the one to first approach him. But if I don't approach him, I feel that he might never approach me because he's probably just as afraid as I am.

Do you think that if he wants me just as much or more, then he would've made a move on me by now?

If I go to Las Vegas and I hook up with a girl (not my wife) who pleasures me using just her hands, is that cheating?

I'm also married. Just when I think I could be over the guy at work, I fall for him all over again. I'm debating whether or not it's worth it to quit my job. I like my job and I need the money and health care. I'm afraid that if I quit, then it might just make my obsession with this guy even stronger because I won't see him anymore. Or it could be the other way? I don't know.

I also don't like the idea of starting all over again with finding a new job.

My babysitter has been babysitting for me for about 2 years now. She has a home daycare. I just had a baby and she is 7 mths. She watches my 7 mth old, 2 year old and picks my 6 year old up from school.
The problem is: Her and her husband are divorcing but still live in the same home. My kids witness them arguing all the time b/c of the husband cheating and the divorce is new. I have only been back to work for 7 weeks and each week she has called off for court, a job interview etc. This forces me to have to find a babysitter at least once a week. The main thing is the arguing though. My husband and I don't argue in front of our children and I don't want it around my children. I feel bad because I am her only income right now and she is already dealing with the divorce issue.
Should I wait for this to tide over or just let her know that I will find another babysitter until her husband moves? Signed -concerned mother.

For the lady that thought this wouldbe a better question to ask rather than who cheats more, men or women. So why DOES our society seem to except it more??

My significant other of 3 years lied to me and said that he accidentlly took my keys when he came home and that he must have left his keys at his job...Really???...So when he left the house he didn't know that he had my keys..I wanted to see how far that he would go with this lie..He arrived home from work around 11pm.....and gave me my keys and we both keep a set of each others keys...but the key that he has of mine...he can't open my glove box with that key..(Acura thing I guess)...so he removed his set from mine and gave my set back to me...Mean while he is acting pissed at me for something earlier that day anyway..This morning while he was in the shower I decided to go and check his car...just in case because his story didn't make any sense as to how he previously left his keys at work and somehow drove home..I'm not that stupid..I check his car and he had his keys the whole time....and took mine and lied about it...What is your opinion? I'm 2 marry him in 5mths...not healthy.

I gave her the glass & she was sucking the ice with a stare. Is that considered flirting or is it nothing?

There is a rule of thumb that says, "If you want to know what your wife will look like after 20 years of marriage, just look at her mother".

How is she different in appearance since you married her? Is your wife way hotter than when you married her or not? How is she similar to her mother physically?

BTW it is possible for a woman to get way hotter than when you first married her. I know one or two and both had kids. However, it is rare.

Please share a story. Please write more than 5 sentences. I got the time to listen.

I am working on a research project on love and psychology. Please do not be rude and answer this like an adult.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

he texted on the phone one time last week "you don't understand, I want you to be my girlfriend".

then, the other night, he said "ur on a date, aren't you?" then I said "would you care if i was" and he said "yes".

so, am i his girlfriend? or not? and, is there a way I can bring it up without pushing him or making it like i'm nagging him??

he doesn't call me that much, or text me too much. it comes & goes in spurts. like when he feels like it.

maybe i should tell him i'm going to see other people.

I have been lying to my partner (husband) of 20 years about the real status of our finances. We have a small business and are in the process of creating another one. The amount I wont say but it is quite substancial. I am so deep into this problem that I do not see another way out. I am scared to death about the consequences and his reation. I did not spend the money on myself - just bad management on my part and not being organised in the business. I am at a loss and am even considered leaving, which means leaving my kids as well. Everyday it is in my head and I continue to mislead him to this day. I know deep down what I need to do but am so fearfull that I cant.

I am ready to give my last thought to a decision I have been struggling for years. I know that in most of our lives we go through life making decisions that we regret or that we are thankful for.

As you get older, life gives you decisions you wish you knew how to handle but it is impossible at times specially since your economic well being or your so called "secured future" can be affected.

I read a question that Emmylou Harris posted here
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aj.rBLYxtUrlyVw4gGQwJDbpy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20071016132557AAl4I63
but I she does not mention as to what to do when taking decisions.

What do you do? Do you forget about what you have done in the past and move on to a new life changing direction or do you just ignore everything to see what happens?

Take care!

I have been married for 20yrs and together with him since high school. I fell out of love with him 5 yrs ago and have just recently seperated and filed for divorce in the last 6 months. On a drunken night hooked up with a long time friend. All people (friends) around us think this is a bad thing that we are doing and we have found that we are very much a like and want to be together. IS this that bad that we should have to wait til I am divorced? Why would I fall for someone so soon and go from one man to another? Looking for unbiased comments.

When my husband and I got married, he insisted upon getting joint bank accounts. I was not very excited about the idea, because I have heard bad stories about it. Anyhow, he is the one that now fully manages my checks, credit card bills etc. I work as a model, so I get paid by job not salary. He is a complete control freak and wants to know every single detail about when where and with whom I work and even asks me what I bought at the supermarket. I feel like I have no control over anything anymore. I don't know what;s going on with my money. I feel like I have lost my identity. Yesterday he was interrogating me again about how much I make and I got annoyed and snapped at him. We didn't speak all day yesterday and at night I got home and he yelled at me and called me stupid because I had locked him out of the house by innocent mistake. I couldn't take it anymore, and left and went to a friends house.he called me several times and we fought over the phone. He threw in my face like his

When my husband and I argue, he calls his mother to come get him. Sometimes it's just to go gamble for a lil while and other times it's to "go stay a few days" at her house. He has packed up and gone to her house before but I usually call and yell at him, so he always comes back. So he has never actually spent the night there. But I'm so sick of him calling her. When my husband and I first started dating, she loved me. After we got married, she flipped. We do not speak to each other at all. She didn't even attend the wedding! How do I deal with my husband always wanting to call his mother? He does it to get at me ... I know it .. because he knows how much I dislike her. I told him last night that if he tells me one more time that he is going to his mother's that I will be filing for divorce first thing in the morning. I shouldn't have said that, but HOW do I deal with this situation????

Live-in boyfriend of two years.
We've talked about getting married a lot.
We get along GREAT he's amazing we're so in love. We're building a house.
Yesterday I said I didn't want to be on the loan because we're single- if we brake up and he bails on the payments (it's on his family land) I can't afford to pay it. if he's late on the payment it will hurt my credit. He kept saying this and that about "WHEN we get married." I didn't say anything really...
Today I want to tell him,

"Look if you plan to marry me we should be engaged, you obviously have some plan I'm unaware of, and you're going to need to share it with me, stop treating me like a kid and tell me what you want, we keep going back and forth on this and you leave me hanging. So you're obviously not the type of guy thats going to ask me, so I'm going to have to do the communicating for the both of us... TELL ME WHAT YOU'RE THINKING!!!"
