I was wanting to know what the consequences would be if to show my disapproval of certain activites my wife wants to include herself in I begin to just wall myself off from her when she does them? Will it get her attention or just put more distance between us?

I lost my good job, then got another and it's going under so soon I will be out searching again. I can't even be happy about the fact that I live in paradise. My friend is suicidal; he has AIDS. My other friend is so depressed, he doesn't come to work anymore either. WTF is going on?

Ok.This is a continuing from my previous 2 other questions. Now my question is that if you have been divorced, what was the reason, how old were you when u got married and how long did the marraige last?A quick summary of my other 2 questions..Im 20 and she is 19.Im about to be a millionare and i love her and she says yes she would marry me also.We are both virgins, strict about crossing the line when it comes to religion, were not THAT religous but we no when not to cross the line.I want to know that what was the main reason for your divorce because i am about to be a millionare and we love each other and we are young.Thanks.

Hi all, I am 30 and my husband is 32. We have been married for 6 years. We enjoy our life, we work hard at our jobs, take vacations, travel.
My question is- when do I know that I am ready for a kid? My husband and I tell each other that we might be ready, but I don't know for sure. How do I know? Should I talk to a parenting counselor?

Thanks

So i'm 21 years old, got married whe i was 18. He went to the Military and asked me to marry him and i was supposed to go live with him, well, i never did. So now he's finally home from his 4 years of active duty and we are finally living together for the first time and we've been married for 3 1/2 years. We dont have anything in common (he drinks, i dont, he bowls, i dont, he LOVES sports, i hate them), we never really have conversations and when i try to have alone time with him (go out to eat) all we do is argue. Please, i dont want to waist my life away being in a failing marriage, what should we do?

My wife has a spending problem. To give you a litte history, during a six month period during 2006 she alone spent $10,000 with vitually nothing to show for it, but maybe some clothes. If your doing the math that's $1700+ per month. She only make $1400 per month. Since she's working we have to pay $700 per month in day care, so she's really only bringing home $700 per month. Add that all up and she's at negative $1000 per month... now it's 2007 and she's gotten better. I gave her a seperate checking acct and control how much $ goes in. The problem now is that she consistently bounces the acct and every chance she gets she spends money behind my back... what do I do???? we have a kid, I can't leave!

If a guy and girl who really care and love for each other go through a difficult time - they have't seen or spoken to each other in a while, both kinda shy (usually depend on other people's comments because it's the shortcut rather than going to the person b/c of fear) - when people haven't had any contact with someone they've been involved with but still deeply care for each other, DOES IT BRING OUT INSECURITIES? the fact tha you don't know what's going on between you two (what you've been up to, who you might have been with) - does it get your crazy and insecure?

Wife mentally harasses her husband and her parents in law, ill treats them, almost all the times preparing food according to her wish, always behaves what her father says without having her own opinion, no respect for elders.

Even the Advocate said if husband approaches for divorce, he has to pay his wife, even when he at no FAULT!

I am living with a Swiss guy as of now. We are not married but we live together. We do not plan to some day marry ours is just a short time together. We both do not hope that one day we will end up being husband and wife. I do not want to be alone that is the reason why I accept this kind of relationship that I have now. I some how tried to look for a guy I love and who love me and is welling to have a serious relationship but I have not found one. I am 32 years old now, Filipina and in my situation I do not think I will find a soul mate. I am just born to be alone and to enjoy life for some time and to live the rest of my life in pain, sadness and loneliness.

Here is what the dictionary states: 1. to quit or leave entirely; abandon; desert , 2. to give up or renounce (a habit, way of life, etc.). What is your definition of the marraige vow, "forsaking all others"?

When you have a guy (who is very trusting) and when he gets to be with this girl, he CHANGED he gets a little (or tries not to get) jealous...esp. if the girl tells him all the guys that hit on her or that are interested

he's a shy guy, bloomed late in the love department, never had a girlfriend - this girl was a girl he's liked for a long time (a close friend) and she gave him his first kiss.

guys usually don't get jealous but i've heard that when they do, it's a sign they really love that girl and don't wanna lose her - true?

I know I have to go down to the local court house; tell them I want a divorce, then what happens? we have nothing to divide, it should be over pretty quick. I was just wondering what happens with the paper work, how long it takes in NJ etc.

I have been married for 5 1/2 years now & I love my husband to death but all we do is fight, fight, fight!! Over stupid things & i really don't think that things will get any better, I think all the time about leaving him & all of my friends know that I do not want to be there anymore, I try to find any reason to leave the house & not come home from work b/c I know that there will probably be a fight waiting when I get home. But everytime I get ready to leave him, I can not bring my self to leave!!! Why???? This has been going on for months, I will pack up all of my stuff & put it in the car but can not seem to back out of the drive way!!

We have a 5 year old but I know that she will always be in both of our lives so I know that is not what is keeping me there!!

I am only 24 years old & am so tired of crying everyday over this!

it is exciting to hear; then some wants me to ask every detail of her party single life. She is always bringing fun times up before we met ( parties, casual sex). Since I had very little of these experiances, it makes me feel like i've missed out. I'm newly divorced after boring long marriage. I'm sure its just insecurity on my part, but would like some advice on handling this topic when she brings it up about fun times earlier without me feeling like im asking more detail after detail?
