When you have a guy (who is very trusting) and when he gets to be with this girl, he CHANGED he gets a little (or tries not to get) jealous...esp. if the girl tells him all the guys that hit on her or that are interested

he's a shy guy, bloomed late in the love department, never had a girlfriend - this girl was a girl he's liked for a long time (a close friend) and she gave him his first kiss.

guys usually don't get jealous but i've heard that when they do, it's a sign they really love that girl and don't wanna lose her - true?

it is too early to tell. it could be that since it is his first time in a relationship, he is still adjusting to the ups and downs of emotions that go along with it.

men are territorial by nature..so it is natural that he will feel jealous when he hears about other men swooning over his territory.

it could be that indeed he is truly in love with the girl...or he is just attracted. time itself will reveal. jealousy may be a sign of a true love but there is no total guarantee as of now in their case.it could be a sign of immaturity since it is his first time. i think the best way to measure his love for the girl is how he treats her and how he deals with the situation each time he feels jealous.

tim took the words right outta my mouth. thats exactly it, ego. hes jealous because hes selfish, not cause of love. he wants to keep you all to himself, not cause he loves you, cause he doesnt want anyone else to have you. that probably didnt make any sense, but keep thinking about it. its kinda like when a girl buys all of the same dress so shes the only one that can wear that dress to the prom or something. not cause she loves that dress, just doesnt want anyone else to have it. you gets??
whatever hes doing though, its working like a charm. it doesnt seem like youre ever going to get over this loser. and it seems to me he likes making you wait, confused and suffer. poor you

A guy's jealousy emanates from his ego, not love.

Sorry and
good luck, he loves himself.
