Marriage & Divorce - 4 September 2007

I am in a great marriage with little drama and great sex and fun. We have money he works over seas and is home every other month. We have children and they are growing up and giving us the freedom to go more together. I know he adores me. I adore him as well. So why did i catch him in 2 comprimising possions with my homely sister? Why couldnt they explain to me why they were not fooling around? Why have they both lied and changed stories over and over? I felt that with every ounce of my sole that day. I know he is sorry but he will not own it or ask for forgiveness. As for the sister. She is out of my world. She put the lives of my girls their entire future at risk and She can stop it with the truth or a well planned lie. I have begged for the lie from them to end my pain. I only get "your crazy, you didnt see anything get over it". How the heck do you prove without a video? How can i make my self just forget it all? Help me with this please before we all lose!

Guess what he reply. He says he cannot comment. So I told him if he cannot comment. Someone else will. He says its better for others to comment or else if he comments I will be high nose. What a remark! He is being selfish, & don't say nice things to appreciate me at all. I can be very attracted to others as people always comments to me. If I want to do other things behind him I can but I really don't have the heart. What am I waiting for when your own husband don't praise or appreciate you. I have been very patience though. What do you think?

If you were married and someone you used to be totally taken with (and had a brief romantic relationship with) suddenly wanted to be friends with you...what would you do? we have been together for 12 years and have an 18 month old and a 2 week old he told me this 2 weeks prior to giving birth. Its not nasty its just really hard to accept and he wont deal with it.. He tells me he is here for the kids and me but wants to move on, he feels as there is a wall up between us.

I dont know what to do, we havent told anyone and Im an emotional wreck and he cant understand why. I really love him and dont want to lose him, but Im afraid I will.

He also feels I deserve someone better as he has alot of commitments and goes out alot.

I want my ex-husband to give up his rights to our child. she is only 6 months old and he bairly sees her. and it is less and less every week. I want her to have a fresh life with no bad people like him in it. He is a lier, cheater and a dead beat. He left us for his 17 year old mistress when i was 7 months pregnant. We have lost the "Fire" basically, of our relationship. Now its like we have been focusing on more of our flaws than anything else when we're together which is ruining the time we "do" spend together.

Since we both work full time and only really 'hang out together' on our weekends it seems more like we're leading separate lives than sharing one together. It's hard to compare our relationship from how it was a year ago, how alive and loving our relationship was, to how it is now where we merely feel like friends with a few benefits.

I'm not talking sexual fire alone, or relationship either. It's a mixture of everything. I feel like I made a mistake in getting married because we don't have the strong true relationship we had before while we were engaged and just causually dating.

Am I wrong to think this? Is it normal? What should I do to improve our relationship? ...And, Did this question make sense. I'm sort of at a loss of explanation.

my relative uncle and her elder sister having a dispute related to her daughter, she is a divorcee and her daughter has left her husband's home as he is jobless. now uncle her[daughter] to return back her hime but she as well as mother refuses to send her back. they have dialogue fight for over this topic, now living in the same home they have made different kitchens. their father [girl's grandfather] not telling anything to them. what to do?

I was just wondering if anyone had a spouse who had an affair and he or she decided to forgive, and how they are doing now? How long ago was it? Do they truly feel they are 'over it' now or does it still haunt them? Or are they basically doing okay, but still have moments of pain? My husband and I have and are going through counselling, our marriage is much, much better than it was before, and generally we're doing alright. But things come up between us still sometimes and it's so painful for me, it's hard to bear. It's been about a year and a half. I was just wondering how other people have coped with it.

Good friends for a long time, never saw him like that but he's always had something for me

then just this yr. we kissed - one of the most amazing things i've experienced...

now he's acting different: can't talk as much, doesn't know what to do, apprehensive, not as confident w. me but with everyone else he is, seems to always be thinking of his next move and you can tell he's more conscious, he doesn't go to my for advice or problems as much anymore and when i confront him, he's "got it", and there are no problems...he's normal with everyone else except for me...

Did the kiss change him? everything? it dictates everything for him now...

ok so my husband and i were having a recurring issue (not cheating) that we've argued about. he does something that really hurts and disrespects me as a woman and as his wife, i asked him to stop. three times after this, it continued. each time i freaked out and got upset. he apologized, we moved on with our lives. about a month later, it happened again and i had said the last time that if it happened again, i would seriously consider leaving because it was unfair to me. i told him i would NEVER do something repeatedly knowing it would hurt him - thats not love. anyways - he did it again and when i finally talked to him about it and repeated how i felt he seemed really genuine. he felt like he didnt deserve me anymore and that hes now realized that hes been as a**hole and hurt me when ive never done anything to him. he cried and seemed really upset and really scared i was going to leave him. do you think he got the point this time? i dont think it will, but what should i do if it(cont)

Hi i have been noticed some "changes" in my bf mood. Also, i feel that's something is happen behind my backs sometimes. I had to bite his arm cause I couldn't breathe, he says if I press charges he will too.(He has a bite mark) The police said I probably won't get VPO unless I press charges I have 4 kids, need to get out he won't let me leave I'm afraid he will really hurt me on of these times. OK I know... sounds like some Jerry springer stuff, right.Oh and I don't have a job or daycare cause he wouldn't let me get a job, don't have money for an apartment, can't stay here cause his dad lives next door and he will always be here harassing me, even with a VPO, we have no visible neighbors. Any suggestions??

I am in desperate need for some honest advice and please do not respond if it is not positive advice.. I am married and have a problem with myself and blame it on my husband.. I have had a bad past with relationships and now my past is affecting me, you see I am insecure when my husband looks at another woman and wonder what is he thinking, etc.. and he tells me that he is not thinking nothing...he says that he just sees her and thats it, he might think that oh she dresses nice and such but is not like she is good looking and hot, because he says that I am everything that he has ever wished for and then some, and also he is like if someone asks me an opinion about someone he will tell them.. I'm trying to be as plain as possible.
My wife works 8 to 5 days I work 3 to 12:30 nights
During the week unless I come home for 20 minutes during lunch we don't see each other at all. I tried waking to see her before she leaves but I have too hard a time getting back to sleep. She tried staying up but she's dead tired and barely makes sense. The weekends seem to be primarily about the kids & extended family anymore. I miss her! Our sex life has become mediocre. Even when we have it, it seems she's distracted uninterested or tired. I blame myself for not being able to cope. She's not expressed the same sentiments but she tells me she loves me and seems able to do without the interaction better than me. If I could do without her long enough I wonder if she would seek me more often or just live with it?
I wish I could help myself in this since I seem to be able to give good advice sometimes. Why can't I figure this out?
How do I resist being disheartened?

mom calls and said a couple men with FBI papers in front seat were looking for my wife.
