Two years ago my son came to live with me and my current wife. He was not getting along with his step-father and the cops had been called a few times. My Ex-wife said my son could come live with me, but only if i signed a piece of paper stating i would not ask for any child support. I wanted my son out of that enviroment so bad i signed it just to get him out. Now times are tight, and i need some support, Do i have any legal ground to stand on, or am i screwed!

Ok... im a lil confused! 8 months ago, my close friend found out she was pregant by a very sucessful guy she happens to be involved with! She really loves him, i would say, the pregnancy pretty much pressured them into marriage quickly! They tied the knot at w/ beautiful, big catholic church wedding. . . but i cant find any records on file of them being in a CIVIL MARRIAGE! no marriage licenses, no record of them being married at all! What are the benefits of a religious marriage without a state marriage licenses? Why would she even agree to such thing? Hes been known to cheat on her since even b4 the marriage, but she would never admit to me that this "marriage" is only beneficial to him and not her. . . Is a religious ceremony wedding a marriage with no strings attached for him? n shes just too blind to see that?

i caught my husband cheating about 2 years ago..i forgave him and moved on..hes doing alot better and everything is going great again..but sometimes i feel like im not good enough for him....i feel like im holding him back from his life..i feel like me and the kids are not what he wants...things seem to be going good i just cant get over this feeling.....

This was over a year back. I have got out of this relationship. Got back with my ex that I was with 5 years prior and got married. My Mother has every excuse why my daughter should not move home yet. I think she is scared to be without her. What she needs to understand I am her Mother and I am the one missing out on the Mother and daughter relationship that I will only get once. My Mother has gotten to the point that when someone asks a question about my daughter she will talk over me like I don't know anything about her. She is buying her everthing she has even went as far as to buy a house 1 block from my daughters best friend. She's buying her off. I still pay for what she needs and doctor bills ect. She has asked for $150.00 from me and my husband a month. Also, any child support I receive. She has also said that my husband should pay if he wants to be stepdad, he's been more of a father to her in over 5 years than he own dad. I don't want my daughter in the middle. Any ideas?

Does it help to list the reasons you have to file for divorce for the judge to grant the divorce even if the other part does not want to sign?

The reason I broke up with him is due to his physical abuse.He was charged and spent a year in jail (2nd time).He's out now and cannot contact me or our children; in/directly for 6 mths as per my request. I decided to b-up w/him n went to family court 2 get/got sole custody of both children as he was threatening to take them. Now he refuses to pay child support as ordered by the Judge.I had no choice but to apply w/maintenance enforcement to get the pymts for me.This is all b/c I refuse to take him back and b/c I no longer want to be his punching bag. What do I do now? Sit and wait...patiently???

My niece who is 18 year old turning 19 years old in the upcoming weeks wants to get pregnant so her 15 year old boyfriend he turns 16 i think at the end of the school year will have to marry her?I am very concerned her parents are divorced have been since she was 10 yrs old .Since then she has gotten kicked out of 3 different boarding schools and caused so much trouble failing classes,getting arrested for assulting her step mother, and a DUI neither of her parents want to deal with her.I was asked my her mom (my sister) to take her in for her senior year of highschool.Its been a year and half since she's been living with me. I got her to graduate HS through a lot of nagging and even got her to sign up for classes at the local community college.She seemed to be turning around till i found the ovulation kit and when i confronted her she said she wanted to ensure her bf would have to marry her?What do i do?

I stayed with my Ex and the kids this past weekend. I had been sleeping on the couch .. the first two nights she left to go visit friends while i stayed with the kids.. which was ok with me because she has her own life and needs some time away. Anyway. the last evening i stayed there.. she had went to bed and i had made my bed on the couch... about an hour had past and i heard her moving around back in her bedroom.. i went to the kitchen to get some water, and to kinda figure out what was going on back there.. she heard me, came to the door and whispered out ,,, hey,,, you wanna fool around,, ,so i did, of course. She's a beautiful woman hard to resist.

I guess my question is this.. we have been talking about working things out but until the other night she has acted as if she has no interest in me in this aread (sex). now she sleeps with me and the next morning cant give me a kiss on the lips. im wondering if she just used me since i was there or not? Any advice or suggestions?

I have been married for 4 years in November. I take offense when my husband goes in the shower right after we make love. I do join him in the shower sometimes, but I'd rather cuddle for a few minutes. I mean I shower twice a day, so I know I don't stink. Whats up with that????

I am seperated after a 5 year relationship and 4 years of marriage...I have, I thought a best friend of 25 years that does not agree with what I have done...heck neither do I. I cheated, I own it and I did it. WELL, she has decided to play both sides...telling things that I entrusted in her for years and especially over the past months. She has her skeletons but I choose not to play that game with her. She says she told these things to her boyfriend and he went to my husband and told him. I have not totally told my husband everything felt like I had already caused enough pain. So what do I do...do I write her off...she is going in for gastric bypass surgery which I had back in October 2006 she has hers Wednesday and I do plan on being there...she doesn't not want to be with this guy. I keep thinking she is pushing me to tell her discretions so he will leave...maybe I should??

I was married for almost 10 years and, every guy I date is a waste of time. We married early so I think of this as a selection process. But the more I date the less progress I think I'm really making. We've been seperated for almost two years now, and I haven't had a relationship since. The crazy part is, I never look to date men, I get asked out all the time and alot of times I do say no. But I feel lonely, so I will go out with someone. Every now and then. Has anyone ever felt they will stay unattached? I'm not looking to remarry, simply companionship.

Is the attraction (physical & mental) strong enough that this is someone you would choose to go out with if it was an option.
(This has nothing to do with having kids together. This is strictly how you look at your spouse.)

I can honestly say, I doubt I would even notice my husband let alone be interested in going on a date with him.

My husband had a drug problem, lost his job, never completed his studies and has been unemployed for 4 years. He is possessive, controlling and selfish. I have to leave town often due to the nature of my work. He always calls, emails and says the worse things to me, implying that I am cheating on him, not concerned about our kids, want everything my way. We may not get visitors because he is not comfortable around people, as a result I don't have any friends and feel completely isolated.
