Is the attraction (physical & mental) strong enough that this is someone you would choose to go out with if it was an option.
(This has nothing to do with having kids together. This is strictly how you look at your spouse.)

I can honestly say, I doubt I would even notice my husband let alone be interested in going on a date with him.

Well it's more than not being physically attracted to him. I'm no longer physically attracted to him because I'm not mentally attracted to him. If I met him at a party, I know there would not be a spark of any kind.
There is nothing about him that would make me think "Boy, I really want to get to know this guy."
Would he date me??? I think he would, but I really couldn't tell you why.

I love my husband and all but we have been through a lot and know my life would be a lot different if I never did meet him and can not really say if I would do it all over again if I knew all that would happen since we have been together.

You know this is a really good question. I don't know exactly how to answer this question. I think that i would still go out with my husband just because there are times now that I still get excited to just hold his hand or hold my breath for just a moment in anticipation when we are about to kiss. Not too mention we dated on and off again for about 10 years before we got married and each time that we dated it was so exciting. But you know like with every relationship you have your ups and downs and there are times that he gets on my last nerve, just like I am sure that I get on his. Every relationship has its ups and downs but I think that i would date him again and marry him again. The very first time I met my husband I told my best friend "I am gonna marry him one day" and I did 10 years later. Matter of fact we just had our 5th wedding anniversary friday.

Well, then you need to take a long look at your marriage as husband and wife, Yes I would he is kind loveing and just great to look at. I have a question for you , why would you marry someone that you would not date? Did you date him before and now that time has come and gone, now you question what you have done?

So sorry you feel that way. I would date mine in a split second. I look at him from afar and still feel desire and love. It isn't so much his physique but that face and eyes of his can melt any girls heart.
Now, would your husband date you?

i don't have a spouse, but just because if you were single you wouldn't give him a second glance, doesn't mean you don't love him.
loving someone has so much more to it than looks, and even though the shallow part of you doesn't like him that much, doesn't mean he isn't great to you and for you.
