I got divorced last december. I have been seeing another women since march. She has been very good to me. She has 2 kids and was also married and divorced. We get along great and when we are together it is very relaxing and fun. I have stayed in contact with my ex. She recently moved away. We have been very respectful and close since the divorce. Sometimes I feel like I should be with her. Like I should do everything I can to get her back. Our marriage failed because of mistakes I made. I know what I need to do to make things work, and am sure that they would this time. I am afraid that I will regret it, if I don't take a chance to get her back, but I don't want to hurt the girl that is in my life now. I don't know the answers, and I feel like I do not know the questions sometimes. Please help.

I've been with my husband almost 6 years. We have 3 kids. Currently I am working 2 FT jobs and he works nothing. I had to get my 2nd job bc he won't keep a job and all our bills are behind. I am tired of dealing with this and I want to leave. He says we should work it out but we've tried before and nothing changes. We always argue about the same stuff and I'm not happy and I don't think he is either. We hardly ever talk or do anything together. I don't want to give up and get a divorce but I've tried everything I know to try. I'm tired of being the one to hold it all together. Do you think I'm giving up by leaving? Any suggestions on what can be done to make our marriage work?

I have joint custody now. When the kids aren't with me they are with her mother. I have them 2 weeks a month and her mom keeps them the rest of the time. Thier mom come and gets them from time to time, mostly just for the day and takes them back to her moms. I have tried to get them through the courts, but her mom and dad lies for her and says that she keeps them because they don't want to give the kids up. This has been going on for 4 1/2 years now. My twin sons are now 5. She smacks them in the mouth, lets them smoke from time to time, beets them with a belt (can't never find bruises or marks). Those are just a few thing that the kids have admitted to me and socail services. I can't seem to get anywhere with my case. Everytime court comes into play the mother starts coming back around and acting like she has always been there, day in and out, and starts playing head games with the kids. Anyone having any sugestions or answers, sneaky or not, please help. Thanks, from a desperate dad.

Does anyone have a problem where your girlfriend doesn't trust you even though she has no reason not to? Here is my situation - I love her and we have been together for over two years, we live together. She has no job, ZERO friends. She spends her days at home, walking our dog, tanning and occasionally cleaning. Then when I come home she smothers me and gives me NO time to myself. I pay all of our bills, her bills and even gave her a credit card that I pay. If that weren't bad enough, she has the nerve to track EVERYthing I do. She tries to get on my computer when I walk away from it. She reads my email, she looks up my sceen names and email addresses online to track what I am doing. She joins the same sites I go on so she can monitor everything I do!

Any advice on how I can get rid of her would be greatly appreciated. I care about her so I have no problem taking care of her for a while as she makes arrangements so please be considerate. Thanks!

I know a couple that have known each other since last December. They started 'seeing' each other in about the end of Jan-Feb. It's nothing but great, and both of them can't see their lives without the other. For example; Kids? They can only see the other raising them too. They are both very mature people in their own ways(they have gone through a lot of things, respectively), and the future for both look startlingly bright, even counting if they went through with a marriage or even 'promise rings'. I'm perfectly confident that they can handle themselves in a higher relationship, but some others that have seen this do not think so. The older turned 19 today, and the younger is around 17 1/2, with a May birthday.

Even while knowing that they are basically already so committed to each other in probably the most mature relationship I've ever seen, I'm going to ask; do you think it is too young?

I am at the end of my rope with my husband. He says he doesn't love me, doesn't want me, that he can't stand me... but that he wants to make our marriage work. I cannot live like this anymore! I know we are headed for divorce. We have two children together and I am due in a few weeks with our 3rd child. I have been a stay at home mother most of our married life and obviously cannot support myself right now at 9 months pregnant. I want sole custody of my kids with child support and alimony. Will I get this in court? Or do I need to hire a lawyer to help me fight for it? I have proof that my husband has basically checked out of this marriage and is just dragging me and the kids through the mud because he can't make up his mind what he wants in life. He has also had 5 affairs (we were on Dr. Phil) and been physically absent most of our marriage. Do I need a lawyer or will the judge side with me regardless?

Going through a bit of messy divorce .... still fresh hurt and anger on his part .... but what do you think of a man who walks into a room, picks up all the family pics, takes them out of the frames, tears them up and puts the frames back where they were?

He was my first love, and my first husband. He gave up all rights to the two children he & I had together to my second (and 'real') husband.
I haven't a clue as to how he found this phone number--the phone is not even listed in my name...
BTW, he knew that I've been widowed for the last five years???

My husbands exwife is impossible!! She's been in jail, stays on drugs and she remarried and had 3 more children, so she has 5 in all.

The oldest child is my husbands and we know that thanks to a paternity test, but she won't give him a paternity test for the next to oldest child, which she claims is his, but has told him to his face that this child isn't his.

Here she is taking him back to court again....wanting MORE child support.

She doesn't do what the papers say, she lives off of welfare--medical card & foodstamps, etc. She's perfectly able to work, she just won't.

All she wants to do is get more & more child support money, she takes my husband back to court every chance she can trying to get more money.

We are a single income family with two children of our own.

Are there any ways to get child support lowered? To get a drug test on her & prove that she's not a good mother? Is there any way to do anything to get her to stop taking him back to court constantly?

Why is that happening? And is that neccessarily a good thing?
I mean in today's world a woman have a lot of say so as to what's going on in her life and the decisions she makes. But is it going to far when a man who share the same life as you don't have a equal standing? Just curious.

is it better to plan logically (financially) for an exit from a bad marriage or to just leave now with your heart in charge? i am married to a man who has lied about who he is, doesn't want and can't have sex with me, is bipolar and unreasonable most of the time, but is helping me financially right now. we are both very unhappy in the relationship. he doesn't want to change the status quo. i feel stuck. i'm rebuilding my insurance business and appreciate the help, but the relationship is ridiculous. we sleep in separate beds, i finally confronted him about some of his ridiculous lies and stories about his past, he apologized--but i think he's either incapable or unwilling to be honest about who he really is...(made up stupid stories about various scars on his body--war injuries, he said). when my adult son was extended in iraq and i was extremely upset, he lied to his boss over the phone and told him that "his" son had been wounded in action. he was fake crying at the time. help

My wife drank when I met her but not that much. Since then she has become very alcohlic and has caused problems in our marriage and our family. She is mean when she's not drinking and worse when she is. Sh has called my job in a drunken tirade and made me look like an *** in front of my boss. There are many, many episodes besides that. About four years ago I had had enough and checked in to a rehab clinic myself. She went through it and we thought everyhting was okay. She was still as mean as ever though, what they call a 'dry drunk'. About a year ago I would find marijauna butts and wine bottles hidden around the house. I don't drink and neither does my son. I knew she was drinking again but was in denial. My son would call me a t work ( I work at night) and tell me she was at it again drunk. I have had the cops come to my house because of her and she has accused me of things I haven't done. I love her but i don;t like her like this. I'm tired and wonder if I should go.

He's cheated on me, abuses me emotionally, and flies into paranoid rages.( he used to abuse me physically) but always denied it. I need to end this Craziness, but police say they cannot do anything. Can I use his latest affair as ground for Divorce even though it was in another State? Help!

We'd been together since we were 16. Divorced 2 months. I've been addicted the whole time. I went to rehab and have been sober for 40 days. I want her to see me trying. I have a good job and was never abusive. We have issues with money and trust as most relationships involving addiction do. She wants children and didn't want to have them with an addict. Our love is not in question. I need to let her know how hard I'm trying and that I'm never going back to that life. If I'd only changed 1 month earlier we'd still be together. I know I have things to prove and can be patient. I just don't know what to say to let her know my intentions. How do I do that without seeming like a broken record. I'm willing to do whatever it takes. Her family is a big problem as well. They don't like me and I don't blame them, but if 2 people love each other and have a chance at happiness I think they should try. I know I can fullfill her life. What do I say to make her watch my efforts to prove it.
