I can answer for hubby too, while he doesn't compliment other women he acknowledges them with respect and he only hugs women who are our good friends that we haven't seen for a long time.

No Way. I have been happily married for almost 20 years and there is no way I would hug another woman or give her a compliment. There is just no point in crossing that line. My wife and I have some close friends and we see them we hug hello and goodbye but my wife is right by my side. I never put myself in a situation that someone else would even maybe think I was flirting.

My fiance compliments women in front of me but he is from New York and talks to complete strangers all the time LOL, although I have never seen him asking for a hug. I think that would be too much.

I don't know about most guys but my husband claims to be extremely happy in our marriage and compliments other women and even hugs or kisses them on the cheek if they are close friends. I have no problem with this...as long as the girl knows that he is a one woman man!! LOL

I can answer for my husband...I see nothing wrong with complimenting or even giving a hug to another woman...but it would depend upon what woman you are talking about and the nature of the compliment and/or hug.

nothing wrong with complimenting another woman provided it's not tacky. asking for a hug is a bit different though. i'd have to know the details on that one.

absolutely, just because I'm married doesn't mean I can't express my opinion and let someone know if they are attractive or did something good. A hug in the right situation is also nothing wrong...
