1. How long have you been married?
2. Have either of you cheated on the other?
3. Do you have kids?
4. Why did you get married?
5. Is this your first marriage?
6. If you aren't happy, why do you stay that way?

This isn't meant to come across as an assault on marriage, although to some it might come across that way. The whole point of this question is I wonder about marriage. I just found out yet another friend is getting divorced. I'm 26 years old and I've always dreamed of getting married, having a family, yada yada yada. What I'm wondering is though is what is the point? I've had so many friends get married, and out of all of the ones that have been married over 5 years, only one couple seems really happy, the rest seem so miserable and I think the only reason they don't get a divorce is that it's against their beliefs, and although it's not my place to judge that, I can't help but wonder what the point of marriage is if people who stay together end up miserable.

Recently I discovered that my husband of twelve years has been seeing another women since November. When I confronted him about her, he declares she was a counselor and he was seeing her to know how to deal with me and being away from me and the kids. What should I do?

ok, my BF and i have been tegehter and madly in love for 3 years. we know were going to be tegether forever. we always tlak about it, and he hints about how he is saving money for someting big. im assuiming its a ring. lol. ;) anyways, he is really good to me, and im really good to him. well lately he has been complaining about me not making enough money! i just graduated college with a degree with Social work and im makign $12 an hour. well his dad owns a construciton company and he works for his dad at about $18an hour. he made me feel real bad today, cus i said :"isnt it weird that this is going to be it 4ever. me and you working at these jobs and stuff" and he said "well IM going to be well off NO MATTER WHAT! YOU might be fine beign poor but IM NOT!" i was shocked. he always talks about WE he never says i. but he did today and it really bugged me. i tried to talk to him about it, but he didnt want 2 he got pissed at me. and said we have different expectaitons. does he want 2 split

i've known about my boyfriend's past anger/anxiety problems since we first started dating, which then they hadn't been present for several years.we've now been together over 1 1/2 years and over the past 3 months,i've noticed his anger problems coming back & they've been getting worse & worse. in july,for instance,as he was walking through the bedroom door,he accidentally knocked his elbow on the door frame&was so mad that he punched(on accident) a hole in the wall.i asked if he was alright and he said"i'm fine".he was all flustered and i kept quiet cause i didn't know what else to say and i was worried i'd make the situation worse.i know he would never ever do anything to hurt me.when we're walking and people are infront of us "going slow", he gets pissed off. little things like that make him so upset.i really don't know what to do or say, which makes him even more mad.but hes the sweetest and most caring boyfriend ever.how can i tell him his problems are coming back?what can we do?

We have never filed for a legal separation and have significant others. If we divorce he cannot keep me on his insurance. I do not want him responsible for my bills, nor me, his.

my parents r getting a divorce, and im so frustanted,angry, ext.
i found out becuz i was goin to my room and i heard the marguring and my dad kept blaming everything on me, its like im the problem and the thing is i heard him say shes no good, she should even be here...that was very hurtful. he kinda left the house, and he left the house while my mom was crying. i dont know what to do, i want them to be togather, but im the porblem. i dont even know what i did wrong. i cant stand it, y is he doing this?

my wife of 10 years and I just separated about 2 months ago. but lately I noticed that she comes on to me alot. we broke up cause she had an affair. now just last night I went over to see the kids and put them to bed and i went downstairs to watch the news and she came down and put her hands on me (hint hint). and then kept going, and finished by performing oral. what do you people think of this? is she trying to get back together? cause i dont want to. give me some suggestions.

my voice mail, email text messages, myspace account mail, visited webpages, and finds out my passwords to all of these things everytime I change them, does that mean she is a Hard lover or a disrespectful, low-self esteem having looser?

she says thats just the way women ARE, are you all like that? Should I accept it? should I kick her to the curb? should I run for my life or stay and say someone loves me so much that she monitors me constantly (does not make any sense to me but that is what she says I should believe)

I gave birth to a baby girl last year and ever since that my sex drive is almost down to zero.
He has a very time consuming job and I'm a nursing SAHM. In addition to that we're also both full time students. There's no one around who could take care of my baby for an evening or so. I feel guilty about this. It's been a while now.....
How do we manage the situation?

My hubby wont give me any affection. He won't cuddle in bed, tells me he loves me often, hold my hand just because, and we dont even kiss. He can do with out sex for extended amounts of time but I CANNOT. Im not the cheating type. I know you might be wondering if he is cheating. i don't think he is cheating but I know that he lets himself go often.

i make my child support payments every month on certain days depends on when my payday falls on , well my child support payments are due on the 1st of each month,well my x husbands wife calls me complaining that she has to get a f job because the payments are late, i pay them every month what can be done?? i thought if you pay them each month late or not they cant say anything???... im from la

Half of all US marriages end in divorce. Every day you hear about husbands cheating on their wives and vice versa.

In many traditional cultures, adultry is strictly forbidden but men are allowed to have more than one wife. There are rules, too. For example, men are required to take care of each wife. They can only have the number of wives that they can afford. There are also rules for women, too.

I've been also watching the the HBO show Big Love, too, and wondering could polygamy work in the US? It wouldn't be a requirement. Only those who want to can follow it.

My husband's youngest brother cheated on his wife and got a co-worker of his pregnant. His wife just gave birth to a baby 2 months ago! We just learned that some chick is 1 months pregnant from him and my husband, his older brother and wife and myself are very disgusted with the whole situation. My brother-in-law has cheated left and right with many women and his wife just takes him back. We where all expecting for her to walk out on him since the news of a child broke out. My father in law has talked her into staying with him. My in-laws blame the girl who got pregnant for being a slease and they also blame the wife for not taking care of "his needs". I'm so angry I have decided to stop talking to him, he's a bastard! I know this is their problem and whatever they do is none of my business. But we have all lost sleep over this. And to top everything, my cheating bro in law is talking trash about the girl he got pregnant and how she has ruined his life. Is my brother in law SICK?
