It really depends on how responsible you are and how well you handle yourself in general and in critical situations. Are you trustworthy, dependable, practical? Do you make good decisions for yourself? Are you respectful of all authority figures? Unfornately, we will NEVER escape authority figures in our lives. If you refuse to accept authority from someone because he or she is not your parent, you are still a child no matter what your age.
