my voice mail, email text messages, myspace account mail, visited webpages, and finds out my passwords to all of these things everytime I change them, does that mean she is a Hard lover or a disrespectful, low-self esteem having looser?
she says thats just the way women ARE, are you all like that? Should I accept it? should I kick her to the curb? should I run for my life or stay and say someone loves me so much that she monitors me constantly (does not make any sense to me but that is what she says I should believe)

Women are not all like that. Some woman are, and use the "ALL WOMAN ARE LIKE THAT" excuse to justify their bad behaviour. If your girlfriend is controlling you to the point its becoming destructive, you should kick her to the curb. Before me and my boyfriend met, he was with another girl who entirely controlled his life. Same scenario, checking his emails, text messages, voice mail, computer, his room, car, everything. It became a relationship of distrust and no communication. When he talked to her about it, she became irate and made his day miserable. In the end, the relationship ended with her cheating on him (of course, the person who always accusses of cheating are generally the first to cheat), and a bad break up. When we started going out, we both agreed to not have that kind of relationship. I don't know his email, don't touch his phone, his computer, search his room, nothing. And the same for him. All that should matter is the time you spend together, and the rest of your life is for you to live, not some girl. Dump her, and find someone who respects and trusts you enough to give you your space. This will only get worse for you if you stay.

Well, for one thing...she is insecure and controlling, but you shouldn't have anything to worry about if you're not hiding anything. Actually, two people in a relationship should know each others' character well enough to know that they can trust each other or else the relationship is not worth having. It is rather immature to be checking up on someone and even though we sometimes do this for our own protection...we should have good enough judgment of character to not be involved with someone we can't even trust. This comes with time, maturity and age...of course. Not always the case for some people. There are those who never grow up or learn to have a healthy, respectful relationship. If you learn from your mistakes then you have a good chance at having a real and healthy relationship that does not involve all of those childish games you mentioned.

Normally women only would resort to such measures if her husband has given her a reason to mistrust him, like past cheating. If there is nothing you have done to cause her distrust then I'd say she has serious self esteem issues. She needs some counseling to get over these trust issues.

Wow, she is controlling and has some real issues. She needs some boundaries, she doesn't seem to know that she is out of line. If you want to continue in the relationship I would insist on counseling otherwise you are going to have to live with this for as long as you are together.

What have you done to make her mistrust you so much?
If you've cheated in the past or have a roving eye, then THAT'S why she's doing it.
If not, then, absolutley - run for your life!

Sounds to me like she don't trust you or is trying to control you.
Is there a good reason why she shouldn't trust you?
I don't do that but my husband is computer illiterate.
Ask her why she does it and tell her you don't like it. Don't accept it as the way it should be. Talk about it.
