I have a custody issue and I’m looking for referrals from people have had difficult custody battles. I am aware that I can look in the phone book, oniline and elsewhere, but I really want an attorney that someone has hired and speaks very highly of. I need help changing my son’s custody from joint legal and physical to sole legal and physical and help getting my parenting time changed. His father has already hired an attorney and I don’t want to represent myself against his attorney. My son starts school this year and his father and I both want him with us Mon – Fri. Yes it is a sad situation and I feel bad that my son is in the middle so please spare me your personal feelings. This is a simple request for attorney referrals. Thanks so much to those who respond. I don’t mean to be so short but I’m frustrated and time is of the essence.

My mom, and most of my family and friends, think my dad is having an affair, cause he's never home, or takes to long at the grocery store. He has 3 jobs, so that would be why he's always gone, but it is tru he willl leave to pick up 8 things from the grocery store and be home 2hours later. But i dont think he's having an affair. what do you think? what should I do?

basically i had an affair with this guy, Ted. He asked me to dump my husband for him. initially i said no, but within i a week i changed my mind. i wrote him a love letter on how much i wanted to be wtih him , and i went home to dump my husband the very same day. i could not get ahold of ted for weeks. after 3 weeks i got ahold of him he said to call him sunday. i called sunday and some girl answerd and said they just had sex. he called a week later to tell me he moved in with someone else. then he ignored me. i started moving on. he called out of the blue practically BRAGGINg that he was having a baby with her. he treid to get me back the night the baby was born and made a few more attempts after that. I told him NO i was soo hurt and now he had this baby with her. it was awful for me. Anyways that was 5 years ago. About 6 months ago we found each other again through the web. he claiming he still lvoes me & im the one who got away. i asked him why then, did he get with her.

I have been married for almost a year now and for about the past 5 months my husband has been very verbally abusive. On July 2 we were arguing about something and he started shoving me into the cabinets on the dresser in our bedroom and then started slamming me on the bed and finally just pinned me down. Last Sunday, July 22 we were in another argument about something he had said to me that was mean. He trapped in the bathroom and wouldn't let me out until I answered his questions. While we were in the bathroom he started shoving against the toilet. He hasn't hit me, just pushed and shoved me. Do any of you think his abuse is going to get worse or stop? I can't tell right now if it is escalating or not. He always denies both the verbal and the physical abuse. Any thoughts on my situation???

I make all the decisions and provide all the discipline in the house..pay the bills and make all the decisions when its time to go out to eat, shop, etc. How can I get him to realize that this is his position as well, if not more. How can I get him, a 33 year old boy, become a 33 year old MAN?

Husband and I are looking for a secluded beach in the Tampa Bay Florida area to go sans clothing. Trying to stay away from the nude resorts which are plentyful and plentifully populated. Anyone know of any tucked away spots left?

He's 36 and I'm 38 so we're not kids. Maybe I'm just insecure, but he chats w/them on the phone, always is invited to a "female" friend's party, etc. He brings me, but I wonder if he has had sex with them, if there is history there.. Ladies, you know what I'm talking about. He has just as many male friends, and of course I don't have a problem with that. should I have a reason to worry or should I get over it????

My 5 kids are teens (15-19) and their father died five years ago. I've been dating this guy for two years, he shares teh same morals on parenthood as me. His kids have all graduated from high school and are in college. We've talked about marriage, just not mentioned it to our kids, and we think we're ready, do you think I should remarry?

basically ( I know it was my fault too, but just listen). when i was married, i fell in love with him. he asked me to break off my marraige for him. I did, after that day, i coudlnt track him down ANYWHERE. he only called to brag that he is living with someone else now ( 2 months later) by then it was too late for my marriage. anyway he never said sorry. then he got his new woman pregnant. He called me THE NIGHT she had the baby becuase she had to stay over night for an infection. he asked me to go to THIER house and have sex w/ him while she was in the hospital. of course i said no. i treid to call and SHE answerd i told her exactly what he did. now he beholds a grudge telling me she does not trust him now and its all my fault. i told him sorry but he ruined my marraige too - he never apolgozied. never even said anything about it. yet he will hold a grudge. what is up wit this is this the most selfish guy youve ever heard of ?

I am 21 years old, just had a baby and my self esteem couldn't be lower and to top it off, I find hundreds of pictures of this beautiful girl all over my computer(in the history folder, of course). I had to snoop because I was starting to wonder what he did on the internet. Then, he looks at her pics all the time. It really bothers me...why does he do it? We know this girl from a long time ago....like the 6th grade and she is drop dead gorgeous but why? Also, he has this thing with chicks in their bikini's...why? I found pics of "young lesbians".....another why? He won't give me any answers really....so maybe someone on here can. I don't want to discuss it with anyone because I don;t want anyone thinking that our relationship is rocky. He has done this before and I explained to him how much it hurt me but he turned around and did it again. Why? To remind you, we have been together for 6 years, married almost a year and just had a child together. I don't want to leave but if I have to..

Brad keeps on insisting that we get married, but I'm not so sure. I've been married a few times before, and I don't think marriage is necessary. Isn't our love the only thing that matters? What do you guys think?

meaning that they feel sex is necessary in achieving a deeper relationship with their partner. Do you think if you were with someone who you absolutly loved, had an amazing relationship with, but could never have sex- would you be happy?? Do you feel sex is necessary in order for you to know how much you are loved???

This is weird...my wife and I got married in July, but her parents want her to get a divorce so that we can have a real wedding next summer. Now I'm wondering, is that pointless? how long will it take for a divorce to be final, and what if we live together? Can we still get a divorce. I'm a New york resident and she's a connecticut resident. We're both going to be living together in NY. What should I do, and how does the whole process work?

Here's the story... well me and my girl of 4 years have been having problems. Lately she's been hiding text messages, calls, and stuff from me. I've talked to her about it and all. I've been suspecting she's cheating on me with a cop I don't like since high school.

Well tonight, her friend is in town. She goes out with her friend tonight. Well I ride by the Huddle House.. and see my girlfriend outside on her cell phone. I turn around and by that time they are leaving. My girl says the one guy held her keys for 10 minutes and wouldn't let them leave. She said they stopped by to say hey to them and that was it.

She comes over my house a while ago.. and her story has changed. She said they went and ate there and her friend thought she forgot her phone.. so they went back and began talking to them and thats when the one guy took her keys, just joking around.. She said they were there "by coincidence"

Fact is.. I rolled up on her

I found emails from a dating website on our computer and he has since changed his password so I cannot log on in his name (which I always have) - went to the site these emails were from and registered myself. Found his profile and he said he was separated and looking for some fun! What would you do?

My brother has a problem. He filed for a divorce about a month ago and he isn't asking for anything. Nothing at all, just for her to sign the papers. Well his lawyer told him last week that his wife called to make an appt. for today. Turns out his wife looked over the paperwork and said she was going to show it to her lawyer. My brothers thoughts are why would she even need a lawyer, it's going to be non-contested and he isn't asking for anything...why would she not just sign the papers? Also his wife won't talk to him for him to ask her why. Any ideas?

has any of you been so much in love that leaving or divorse isnt an option, you call someone insecure or desperate if they love someone so much they cant see spending there life without that person, that is me I feel sorry for all those people that think you should divorse or give up the love of there life,
for something the other did wrong, A mistake, I have been married 35 years to the same woman she has made mistakes and I forgave her, I have to say I am very happy, put away your pride and look around, nobody is perfect, are they?

From observing my friends who are gettting divorced and breaking up:

It seems that women get over the break up faster at the beginning and then hard on them later on.

For the male, it's hard at the beginning, but then they get over it, and then easy later on.

Agree? Disagree?
