20, and I wouldn't change a thing. It's not really age that matters, it's where you are in life.

I was 18 when I got married and divorced after 13 years. If I could do it again I would wait until I was older and would get my education out of the way. Marriage, family, bills, and all the responsibility that comes along is stressful for a 30 year old let alone an 18 year old. At 33 I am a completely different person than I was at 18 and so is he. I'm not sure why I was in such a hurry.

I married the first time at 19...and would do it again. Hubby died 7 years later. Second time around I lived with my present husband 10 years before I married him, we married when I was 40, and we're very happy still after 25 years together.

I think 19 was young, but for me it worked fine. I guess it just depends on the situation and your maturity no matter what age you are.

Hope this helps??

I got married when I was 20 and the thing I regret most was not waiting until he and I were more mature. I think I could have handled things far better had I been older. However, things worked out great. We have been married for 16 years and have two beautiful children.

I was 24, and married for 8 years. We should have waited at least four more years, until we were at least 28. We should have waited more for the life experiences than the age though. Age itself is relative, but life experience on your own is so important.

I married at 23 and that was considered "old maid" in the seventies. I think I would not have married at all. If I could do it over, I would have gone to college and lived on my own for a while and traveled.
Peace

we were 25...we had been together for 6 years. I think we got married at the right age, for the right reasons, and we are still together and know one another very well. we have been together now for 18 years.

I got married at 18, 23, 32. If I knew then what I know now, I would just wait to meet my current husband.
