I actually feel kinda silly asking this but i feel like i have to. I am 23 yrs old and i have been married for 1 yr and 1/2. My husband was my high school sweetheart. This isnt a recent change in behavior for him but everyone around me, my family included keep telling me its abuse. My husband is very demamding when it comes to doing things around the house. He wants everything done his way and when he wants it. If not, he tells me i do nothing and asks me what good i am. I feel that it should be an equal thing but he does nothing. I may not be explaining it very well, but he makes me feel like i am just a maid. I also work full time and i am 2 months pregnant. Am i wrong that he is just used to having everything done for him or is this abuse?

My husband is a wonderful man that works hard & likes to be out in nature. Recently, a friend came up w/ idea of a 4 day camping trip down some river & "roughing" it. I don't want to go (4 DAYS!! I'll go camping, but not for 4 days w/ out shower, phone, etc.....) However, he still wants to go & aside from a little wife worry & no phone, I normally wouldn't mind. The problem is that the friends' girlfriend wants to go & I think she a little crush on my husband. I've explained to him nicely, that I don't feel comfortable w/ him going w/out me. I don't think he'd cheat! We have a stable loving marriage, I just don't trust this other girl....never have.
The situation is obvious......her man doesn't have a job, has gained a lot of weight recently & in my eyes, I would never give the time of day to. On other hand, my husband is in a stable marriage w/ a career & quite more handsome. Do I let him go or am I in the right to say no???

If your husband says he will kill you and your whole family if you leave him and then says hes joking. then says he will kill your family instead so you will be all alone. and says he joking about that too. he has never hit me, he calls me names, i take care of the money, he has changed when i want to go see my family and friends. i do want to leave him but i am afraid he might do this and i have 3 kids i have to make sure nothing happens to them. Do you think he will do this if i leave him? I don't want anything to happen to my family because of me. i have people tell me to leave him but they are not in my shoes.

My fiance broke off our engagement and I've found the only way to get past this, is to treat it like a death. Like that person is completely gone, and sometimes like he never existed. If I don't do this, I drive myself crazy. Does anyone think this is unhealthy or have any advice?

Seems like a simple question, right? Is it intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual, or some combination of the four? If you are lacking one of the 4 are you really in love? or will that love last a lifetime? What are your thoughts?

I'm not happy. He uses my car (In my name & I pay for it but never drive it), My cellphone in my name on which I don't use but pay for cause he always uses it & my laptop that I bought a while before I even met him. He has returned his wedding band 2 times & exchanged it once. Returned it the 2nd time recently & the wedding is in a little over a month. The car never has gas in it for me to go anywhere. He always puts just enough in for him to get where he needs to be & to take me back & forth to work. He uses any money we ever get on weed & some other kind of **** that he always says he is going to quit but won't. I bought not only his wedding band but my wedding set as well including my engagement ring. He says he wants to move to Florida to make it easier on us cause he has a job set up there. But the thing is I will be paying for both of us to get down there. I don't think this relationship can be fixed. If it can be fixed please tell me how. If not I want out.

My wife and I are going through some troubles in our relationship. We don't really fight at all in our marriage, but a few little problems came at once and we couldn't handle it like normal couples. Now we talk about divorce a lot, but I don't want that to be an option. We have been married for 5 years, we have 2 beautiful kids and we are both only 24 years old. I know couples go through really tough times together, but since we are not really used to problems.

Wondering if someone tried marriage counseling. I heard it was a lot of money and I don't have any money, but I am willing to work 2 jobs to pay for it if it will make us stronger and better.

Kissing to me is an intimate experience. Especially when there is no sex involved.

Would you make out with someone who meant nothing to you?

Would you be likeley to still think about them 6 months after last seeing them?

No wI know Im proably to young to even consider this but Ive been thinking about it for a while and Im just curious what people on here think. Ive been going out with this great girl for a few months now. And an extra thing is we have known each other for 3 years. We are very close to each other and know each other very well. We both belive this will last a very long time if not foever. Now we are both 17 and graduating next year and plan to try and stay close to each other or even share an appartment together. Now what I have been thinking about. Would it be to soon to purpose to her the night of are senoir prom next year? I figure that if we can last that long together with sign of faulter it would be a good assumption to make that we will be together longer. What do you all think? Good idea or to soon?

My husband likes to look at porn on internet and deletes all the history files on computer like trying to hide something. He promised me he is not doing drugs, but yet 1 year ago he talked about mushrooms to my friend and asked if he wanted a hit, says he was joking because they both had drug problems in the past. To top it off, I found out he might have a baby whose about 3 years old, we've been married for 2 years, by his ex-wife and he won't get a blood test done to see if it really is his. He told me he wants nothing to do with this child and told his ex-wife when she got pregnant to get an abortion. I feel overwhelmed, not to mention when I bring up these topics he gets all mad and storms out saying I should trust him. Another thing he treats our kids differently, he has one and I have 4. I heard marriage takes a lot of work, is this worth working on? I hate to have another divorce, but this stuff bothers me and he doesn't want to talk about it.

Women will take a man to court to get as much money as possible just to get back at the man. Women want the man to take care of them and the child. If a man is paying lets say $600 a month, as soon as the woman finds out he's working overtime or has a second job, she draggs him back to court to get $1000 a month when the $600 a month was more than enough to take care of the child. And I don't want to hear about diapers, utilities, food, clothes because $600 is enough, if more more than enough for that. Some women seem to forget that they are required to provide 50% financially for the child too. They complain that $600 a month isn't enough for food, diapers, utilities etc. but if they were doing thier share, it should be $1200 a month for the child. It is not up to the child's money to pay the entire utility bills. Women need to pay for their usage too. I guarantee I will get bashed here from all the women that this applies to. If you're gonna bash me, please turn on your email.

My b/f's youngest sis just had a baby sunday. Great right? Yeah, but she called my b/f's exwife to be with her at the hospital and she didnt even call ME...his family say they left messages on his cel...his cel is broke. They've all called MY phone before since we LIVE together and have for the past 3.75 yrs...we missed the entire event! Then on Monday I found out they didn't call my phone cuz they didn't want ME there cuz it would make my b/f's exwife feel "uncomfortable". We've been together for almost 5 yrs. They've been divorced 8+ yrs. His family had NOTHING to do w her til 2 yrs ago when she LIED to them all about "dying of cancer". She had cervical dysplasia, had a cone biopsy done. NO cancer! But his entire family but two sisters (family of 7 kids) felt sorry for her. Tried to get us to break up so he could"move in w HER n HELP HER out instead of ME".We had a terrible time for 2 yrs of that crap, finally Oct he chose ME.The X hates him nw but his fam took her side. I'm left out

I have been involved with him for 9 years. Not married, no kids. I have officially begun to think he has a serious personality disorder. He will tell me that people in the family say not so flattering things about me, which he spins into I embarass him with the way I act. I am not cheating, and I only have one or two friends that I am really close with. I see my best friend 2 or 3 times a week for a few hours at a time, and he says that is too much and it takes away from "our time". I think that is ridiculous. He has a gambling problem and spends about 40 hours a week at a casino playing poker. I catch him in lies (sometimes very small, so small it doesn't even matter) and sometimes big. When I confront him, he spins it so I look crazy. 9 years of this has really taken a toll on me. Now that I am finally going to leave for good, how do I get myself back?

I am constantly turned away from my husband sexually. I am feeling frustrated and angry and resentful and hurt..etc.. he "teases meby saying oh lets make love tonight i;m horney so i fall for it and i say ok! i am too it has been a while and when nightfall comes, he rejects me when i remind him it is time for some love...and he pulls away and/or will make sure he has a few beers and has an"excuse" for not wanting to have sex with me. i am not ugly either. oh as a matter of fact i sale cars at a new dealership and i am the only woman there and u would think he would be a little jealous,,but no he is not..he actually seems like he wants to give me away like i am not good enough. i feel hurt and confused as to why he will not make love to me. he used to want to make luv to his ex all of the time but with me, he balks if we do it 1 time a week! and he makes sure he does it fast enough to where i do not have any pleasure then he finishes and rolls over and goes to sleep and tells me scram.

I'm serving overseas and she allows our daughter to do what she pleases, spoiling her; she has no job, she's drop out of college and does nothing every day. Those are the two things we argue about the most; her spoiling our daughter allowing no discipline, and our 7 dogs running rapant in our filthy house. She knows my intent; I'm having to remind her countless times to keep the house clean, no more dogs, and encourage our daughter to either find a job or go back to school. I get no phone calls, or letters, and when she does send me a box every blue moon, no note or letter wishing me well, or any hint of encouragement, or how much she misses me. Very cold, very distant relationship. Married now for over 20 years, so please don't tell me a marriage counselor is your answer. Am I wrong for putting up with this crap?! I think it's time for me to end the marriage! What think you???

The father of the child is sacrificing happines only for child, but the marriage is real hell. Is ok for the child to live in that kind of enviroment, or is better to devorce and to have 2 normal parents, not to live in fighting enviroment.
