How happy are you? Truthfully??

After the honeymoon phase of being married and you start to notice a few flaws in your mate, do you ever wonder if it was a bad idea to get married- does the grass always appear greener on the other side.

Does this feeling pass or does it come and go?

I think this question is pretty simple and to the point. If you have put up walls, what did it take to tear them down?

So, my girlfriend has been bugging me to meet my wife for some time now. I was a little worried about it at first but I finally decided to go ahead and introduce them. My wife was a bit worried about it at first because I told her my gf is quite a bit younger and pretty hot. Well, they hit it off great. I'm thinking about asking my gf to move in with us. My wife isn't really hot on the idea but I think she'll come around...especially when she sees what a firecracker the gf is in bed. Should I go ahead and have her move in or is that a bad idea?

something that your special one does which made you say "He's the one"! (or she).
I am not talking about physical attributes, in succesful relationships there's always a little something that makes that person be the one you chose, and more foten than not, it happens and something clicks inside. What is it for you?

My husband and I have been together for 4 years. I love this man to death. Recently things started to get real bad. His job cant' afford to pay him all though he is capable of finding new employment he chooses to stay with this job. They keep telling him tomorrow and so on so forth. I am working tow jobs to provide for my husband and his 9 year old son its really hard for me. My husband has had several job offers and chooses to stay where he is knowing from one week to the next that he may or may not get paid. Any suggestions as what I should do. He has only been at this job for 4 mths. He can't hold a good job for more than 6 so far. I feel like I am wasting my time. Should I follow through with my threats and move out and see if he can grow up then or what. He will be 31 in November. Please help. All we do is fight. I think that I am headed for a break down.

Hi all,

I am mainly looking for the female viewpoint on this one...but obviously anyone is welcome to give constructive answers. :-)

I had a period of time where I was pretty negative, and would get in a bad mood easily, like with traffic, stress, whatever. My wife almost left me because of my negativity and constant unhappiness. After that (and for several years now)...I am 100x better than I was, I am almost always in a good, happy, outgoing mood. I'm always helping, laughing, joking, just having fun in general...so times are good. On the other hand... if she is in a pissy mood, gripey, or just plain negative...its all of a sudden "ok"...because she is in a bad mood? What kind of double standard is that? She isnt mad AT me in general...but can be extremely short with me, and in a real wet-blanket mood. (not depression) Why is this cool? I wouldnt leave her because she is like this...but if I try to address her mood constructively, it makes things worse. Help!

He's apparently being very open and answering all my questions; but I just keep having questions. How will I know I can trust him again? He says it's over but it lasted over 6mo. Will he really be able to give it/her up? How do I go about seeking counseling? This is all so unreal. I really want our relationship to survive this. We know many couples who about this time (22-26 years) had similar problems. Can a marriage survive? Anyone been there and made it work?

My husband has been a coward not able to face our seperation and flew away to an unknown country without giving me a legal divorce.

How can I bring him back to give me a divorce and then flee?

I asked this question a few days ago - and I was asked to be more specific about details - so here goes:

Yes, I am considered very attractive: 30, petite, dark hair, blue eyes, slim build - and I have a very high sex drive.....

He is also attractive: 31, tall, blond hair, fair skin, nice build.....I'm sure he could have women lining up - in fact, he has them text message him at 2 AM. He also has a very active online life...whenever I walk into the room, he instananeously shuts down all chat windows he has, plus he takes his laptop in with him into the bathroom!

He says he loves me, but he gives me no attention. I get a couple pecks on the mouth every other day, and maybe when we're in public, he'll act more affectionate. I've asked him to go to a doctor as I was concerned (he has never gone), plus we were supposed to go for fertility tests and he refused to go for his....now he works a lot and claims he's just too tired. But this has gone on for almost two years. Now what?

I was dating this guy for abt 3 weeks until he called me while i was on a month vacation and told me that "his ex called and told him that she's 2wks pregnant" Being that we had only been dating for 3wks I hadn't really got attached to him nor was i feeling anything special. So I broke it off with him because I didn't want to be involve with the "baby mama drama" He said he had no idea that she could have been pregnant but something told me not to believe him but I did anyway. Here's the part when i get pissed... Him and my male cuzin are close friends so when I arrived back at home, I tell my cuzin abt the situation and he clearly says that my bf n his gf never broke up, and she was 2months pregant not 2wks. And that him n her had a place together, but he moved out but still spends the nite often. I've been at home 4 a wk now and he's avoiding me, I havent seen him or talked to him because he knows I know the truth now. Should I still approach him and let him know he was full of #$%!?

The concept makes me ill. Plus, I love to go and come as I please and not answer to anyone but myself. Keep my home the way I like it. Eat what I want and when I want. Watch TV when I want .... Fart when I want.....and numerous other things! I can't ever see sharing this all with another person and especially little bratty kids!

We never even get to see Gross pay when we get our paychecks. We get the net pay (after taxes) which in some cases are close to 50% lower so why do the courts use gross pay? Is that fair?

I have been married for 1 1/2 years to a successful, good-looking man with a friendly/good sense -of- humor personality--we are not rich, but not hurting either. Since I married him, it seems like other women(and not always younger, I admit) try to "hit" on him or they are definitely thinking they can have him. It seems like a wedding ring on the finger makes no difference these days. My husband is 55 yrs. old, but nice looking.

My bf and I have been together for 2 years. My family does not like him because they think that I should be with a doctor or a lawyer because I am lawyer. His family loves me and includes me in everything. My family does not invite him to anything. He feels it is unfair and I don't know what to do about it. Talking to my family is a waste of time as they are stuck in their ways. I fear that he is going to get tired of the drama and look for someone with less drama. What should I do?
