I have been married for 1 1/2 years to a successful, good-looking man with a friendly/good sense -of- humor personality--we are not rich, but not hurting either. Since I married him, it seems like other women(and not always younger, I admit) try to "hit" on him or they are definitely thinking they can have him. It seems like a wedding ring on the finger makes no difference these days. My husband is 55 yrs. old, but nice looking.

Yes, it happens. They think they can sweep through regardless of whether he's married or not - especially if he's married. There are some sick minds out there. They have very low self-esteem or are just digging desperately for attention. It's pretty pathetic.

Walk away gently. This man has been through two wives and three children. He's been thru a lot, and may now want somebody like you around to take care of him and make him feel desirable. Consider the age difference and the fact that he wants more children. In twelve years he'll reach retirement age. How well can a senior citizen help you to raise a child of twelve and below? You may be caring for him as well. Also, consider maturity. You may have a graduate degree but you aint been through the school of LIFE. You are at a permanent disadvantage to the guy. What, are u looking for a father figure to teach you how things work in life???? You should date more... maybe guys in their thirties would be a start.

Well before i was married I didnt want a married man...and surely not that old...if they will easily leave the women they are with to be with another women that is not a good man and will easily do it to that women when he gets bored with her. I think honestly women flirt...I have notice stuff like that with my husband...we have only been married for 7 years and he is 27 and I am 26. He is a talker and very nice...but I dont think he would stray...he is a good man so I have no worry. To answer your question I think there are so many women that get jealous of a good thing and want that for themselves. Or that is there way of communicating is flirting.

Unfortunately a lot of women are predators and a married man is like a big juicy steak to them. The way they see it, if he's good enough to marry another woman AND good looking, then maybe he would be good for them too. My husband and I have only been married a couple months and even I've noticed that women seem to get a lot more flirty when they see his wedding ring.

I don't think that MOST women do.

A younger attractive woman feels comfortable with an older married man (kinda like a father) and the marriage part of him is safe for the women.
They aren't looking to "take him away".. they are just enjoying his company like they would a brother or father.

Some women might have that mindset of being cared for by an older man (use him for his money) ...
but sounds like you dont' have to worry about that.

Many young women do think this, unfortunately. I get hit on more now that I'm married than when I was single!

Lucky for you, though, most men dismiss this flirting and then go home to a real woman without ever giving another thought to the girl.

I have had this happen too. I guess these woman think it makes them look hot to hit upon a married man. My husband and I went out for cocktails one evening and this woman (I even know her and I use the word woman as loose as she is) sat on the other side of him and said do you want to buy me some drinks. He said no thank you and moved to the other side of me. Just keep your head up, you have him sounds like you are proud of him and that you love each other very much.

Yes, girl most of the young women think that they can take a maried man away, not for ever but for the momment beacuse most man just want another girl on the side for fun not really to re-place you or should i say the wife, but girl work it and keep on showing your man you are the one for ever in bed and on the household rules!

I wish that some women would understand that a man does not leave his wife for his whore ! They [other woman] can lie to herself and fool herself all she wants, but the reality is; she will be another man's mistress when the first man is done with her.
No marriage, unless he's crazy. Why would you marry someone who helped you cheat on the person you claimed to love? That whore will do the same to you. Believe it!

If your husband is anything like me, he doesn't pay any attention to what other women are up to. I get hit on frequently and most of the time, I don't even realize that's what they are doing. I am a guy, so I am a bit naive compared to females, but more importantly , I have zero
interest in any other female besides my wife.
