My dear friend, firstly its not only married women. Its not even just women. If they are cheating, thev'e got to have a partner in 'crime', which is generally of the opposite sex. Of course its not justified to expect it & take this act for granted from anybody! Marriage is an act of confidence which each partner vests in each other, however we are all humans & are never 100% selfless, accept it or not.For 2 different people comming from diff backgrounds to continue to live, adjust & cope with each other is the most difficult thing to do. This is where minds sway to somebody else.As for breaking up, keep it as a last resort. Remember, you havent lost the battle until u have used the last bullet in your gun!

Whether it's worth breaking up over depends on you, your wife, and the circumstances of your relationship. For example, do you have kids to consider? Do you think that this is a one-time slip of will power, or do you anticipate a pattern of infidelity? You need to have an answer to questions like this before you can make your decision to leave or stay.
As for why women cheat - it's a sign of low will power, inadequate morals, and low self esteem. If a woman is unhappy in a relationship, she should be confident enough to end it, instead of deceiving others.

The same reason that married men cheat!
No we should not expect this behavior and we should not put up with this sort of thing. Should get counseling and work things out. But if that does not work it's worth it to break up over.

Why?
Some of the possibilities are - They are
1.born like that.
2.unhappy with their partners.
3.destiny.
4.boredom.
5.society around them accepts it.
6.families are not close knitted.
7.etcetera.
The word cheating has a tone of accusation.
A better word would be stray.
Many married people stray from their partners one time or another.
What's the big deal ?
If the offended person feels terribly hurt and the offender is not willing to improve breaking up is the only solution.
If they can start all over again it would be the best solution.
For they have to consider other things like mortgage, savings, children, relationship with members of their families, jobs and a host of other things tied to a marriage.

the majority of married women cheat because they feel they are not getting the attention and affection they desire at home!
so if a woman feels ignored, and emotionally abandoned, she MIGHT seek comfort elsewhere.
statistically that is the major reason women have affairs.
i'm sure there are some women out there who have affairs just for the heck of it, but i don't know any of them.
if a partner cheats, there is usually a reason, and the marriage is in trouble. if both people still love each other and want to work it out, and get to the root of their issues, they might want to consider marriage counseling.
take care.

where and when did this question come up before,,,uhmmm,, yes ten minutes ago,, only it was "Why do married men cheat?"
TEMPTATION COMBINED WITH A WEAK RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HUSBAND AND WIFE. ANYONE IN A MILLION AND ONE REASONS WHY A MARRIAGE CAN BE CONSIDERED FRAGILE OR UNBEATABLE. A WEAK MARRIAGE IS THE OPEN DOOR FOR TEMPTATION TO SET IN AND WELL WE KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.

I never cheated on anyone. You should not accept this from your girlfriend or wife. And yes, it is worth breaking up over because afterwards the trust is totally gone and it never works.
